What to do?
I’m at a bit of a loss. Two weeks ago my PF was at 92%. Since then it has fluctuated dropping down then coming up a little then dropping again each day, 1 step forward then 2 back situation (still in my green zone). I’ve been a bit wheezy and mucusy over the weekend. I’m tight this morning, gunky and

Confused re using blue inhaler
Hi everyone. I was diagnosed with adult onset asthma around 2 years ago and have yet to get it fully under control. I was started on Fostair 100/6 but this was increased around a month ago by the GP to Fostair 200/6. To be honest, I've kind of been muddling through on my own as I haven't really been

Fostair and Levothyroxine Interactions?
Been prescribed levothyroxine 50mcg daily for hypothyroidism. Noticed that the leaflet for Fostair and Levothyroxine both show a possible warning for taking both of them together. The fostair leaflet says this... Medicines for treating Parkinsons disease (L-dopa), to treat an underactive thyroid gland

10 months on - Redness caused by irritant (not allergen) very slowly going away
Hi, A little backstory first. I applied a substance around the eyebrow area after using it for a few weeks without issue. However, the second tube seemed to have applied more on the brush than the first tube. Please note I stopped using the serum for 5 days and when I applied a face wash that I had no

Asthma or Bronchiectatis?
Hi, I'm new to the community and wondered if anyone else has had a similar problem with their diagnosis. At the age of 50 I was diagnosed with mature onset asthma which proved very difficult to control. I have tried a number of different inhalers and I'm currently on Symbicort 200/6 and Spiriva. I

Has anybody fond Formoterol Oxis etc to be better with less reflux or indigestion?
I'm trying to find a reliever that is less of a problem for reflux and wondered how if anyone has has found formoterol to be better? I have tried the combination Seretide, Ventolin and Serevent and they all give me really bad reflux. I'm on a PPI etc but it only makes it just about bearable.

Starting mometasone
I've been given a mometasone nasal spray to try and help with congestion, just wondered how soon I would notice it working, and does it start by making you more snotty? I had been congested but this was dry, and had post nasal drip. Now my nose seems more runny and the gunk that's going down my throat

Dental problems and Osteopania
Hi, this is possibly an odd question but does anyone out there have any issues with their teeth? I have Osteopania thanks to the steroids and in the last month or so I have had 2 crowns fall out and an abscess form above another crown which is requiring surgery to treat. I asked the dentist but he didn't

Asthma and air-conditioning - mask?
Every summer I struggle to breath at work due to the cold air pumped out by my organisation's air-conditioning. I am not sat near a vent, but the air in general is very cold. I also have perennial rhinitis (treated with mometasone furoate) and hay-fever treated with anti-histamines. Is there a there

Your Meds (Strong Recommendation)
Hi I have a 'strong' recommendation for you, but first an explanation. In addition to reading the Patient Information Leaflet, I've now taken to checking the Drugs.com Website for each Med I'm prescribed. As you may know, Drug Interactions, Incorrect Drug Doses, Patient Drug Errors, Wrongly Prescribed

Nasal Spray
Just picked-up a repeat prescription from my GPs for a Nasal Spray - Mometasone (50micrograms). I always use the same pharmacy and have been dispensed 'Nasonex' against the previous 2 prescriptions. Now they say they cannot dispense 'Nasonex' and have given me 'Mometasone Furoate', which they say is
