GP said if he could not tolerate the side effects of Lyrica, he should try Mirapex next. Hesitant to do so reading about it on this blog. Like a lot of you, he takes one around 6:30 PM and then two when he thinks he might try to go to bed (11:00 PM ish).

OK, 2 weeks into the trial. 75% of participants get nausea, vomiting. I never do anything the way others do so none of that for me. Instead constipation with stool as hard as concrete. Miralax, senokot magnesium citrate, Gavrilate. Nothing. So into the ER where the X-ray shows "you're full of it

Just went to see the doc about switching around meds and she told me to increase the mirapex 🙁 I told her about augmentation and she said she knew nothing about that. So here I am, about to take two pills instead of one now. She also recommended taking gabapentin if this increase isn’t helping.

I’m still taking the second lowest dose of mirapex and it’s not doing anything at all.. taking magnesium 200mg a night and cutting back on my caffeine intake.

Also, any luck with Lyrica, Mirapex and Targinact? Those three drugs have not come up with the GP doctor, the Neurologist or the Sleep Disorder specialist at Stanford. If nobody has tried RELAXIS, get on line and look that up.

It's been 4 months since I wrote last. At that time I had reduced my original decade long dose of 1.5mg to .75mg over the course of several months taking it at .25 step. I am now at .5mg and have been for a while. As others have reported, venturing below .65 is when withdrawal symptoms really start

I took myself off of Mirapex and use Mucuna Puriens for my dopamine needs, Valerian Root and melatonin for sleep. Anyone else using supplements rather than pharma y?

I have a very awkward situation where I can not walk and get to a doctor..my doctor will not refill my mirapex perscription which I have taken at least five years for restless legs..I have gone cold turkey and I am exhausted from sleepless nights..my biggest fear is it affecting my overall health heart
