Betrayal and the Horrible Pain After
At that time I only had
Mirapex
to take but it wasn’t making me feel very good but I just gave up and took it because I knew it would work at least for a little bit before I augmented because I already had augmentation on every dopamine agonist I had tried 15 years ago.

Living with RLS
I take
Mirapex
every day at 3 pm to try to reduce rls from starting up. Seems to do better that way rather than waiting until evening to take it. That being said, It is a rare day that I don't have rls at all. I also find some relief in lying on my stomach.

Any info on RLS and Chronic Kidney Disease?
A doctor prescribed Levodopa, then Ropinole, then
Mirapex
(1.5mg) which I have taken for 15 years. The impulse control issues of the dopamine agonist combined with the head injuries were problematic and have resulted in maxed-out credit cards, loss of jobs and hypersexuality.

MIRAPEXIN PROLONGED RELEASE
Has anyone heard of this? I had a telephone consultation with my Neurologist who prescribed it, because I am not happy with the Gabapentin I am taking. Combined use of 2x600 mg of Gabapentin, 2 co-dydramol and 0.5 mg of Clonazipam each night is still giving me insomnia and restless legs. I was so proud

How do you deal with RLS?
Currently I’m taking 3mg of Ropinirol at bedtime, and have also tried
Mirapex
. Some nights it works and other nights nothing helps. I’ve tried bathing, massage, walking, cold packs, etc. If anyone had advice as to how they deal with RLS, I’d love to hear it. Thanks, Nancy

Potassium results
I get my blood tested every 3 weeks by my oncologist before treatment. (had kidney cancer which was removed, including kidney, but it came back in my pelvis). Thankfully everything remains constant. The Creatinine has remained at 1.6 (not bad for one kidney) for months. Sometimes an odd drop to 1.5

Rectocele...
Does anything help ease this pain? I have this constant urge to use the bathroom and I’ve been in pain nonstop. My doctor suggested Miralax and put an order in for an ultrasound sometime in the next week. Is there anything to do in the meantime?

My first night on mirapex
I took
mirapex
0.375 ER last night and it did NOTHING . I never had trouble sleeping before and last night was awful. The buzzing and twitching wasn't relieved at all. Can I have some advice on how long I should continue with the
mirapex
before giving it up and going back to the neurologist?

Digestive Problems from MS?
Hi Friends-does anyone have digestive problems caused by MS? Sorry for detail, but I’ve had more constipation problems last 5 months or so. I have my first colonoscopy exam this Friday...yay! Joke. And a HIDA test (recheck) on my gallbladder end of month. I have to take Miralax and Metamucil everyday

Treatment for a recovering alcoholic
I took
Mirapex
for about 7 years before I began experiencing augmentation. Even though I was seeing a neurologist I was never guided through the withdrawal. I went cold turkey which was hell. I am a recovering alcoholic and the only options for treatment are narcotics which dosen't work for me.

Constipation and laxative use... Help?
I have IBS and have always had problems having bowel movements I could be waiting a month or two at times. And when I do eventually go it is a struggle. I always know when I'm constipated and need to use a laxative to help things along as my stomach gets bloated and feels real heavy and I'm uncomfortable

Gabapentin/Neupro
My GP says to come off such a high dose of Gabapentin I have to reduce by 1 tablet every 10 days, the chart I've been given works out at 80 days - I cannot go through this again, the
Mirapex
withdrawal nearly killed me.
