Should we go down the IVF path?
My partner and I met when he was 38 and I was 39. I’m now 41 and time is running out. We TTC naturally for a year but my irregular cycles made it impossible. We have tried a couple of rounds of letrozole which worked to prompt ovulation and then didn’t. Now on first cycle of clomid. My fertility specialist

Pet Scan Results
Hello 🌺🎀 The result of pet scan shows a decrease in the affected area in the left hip from 4 to 2.5. It's good news. But an area appears in the rectum / anus that has to be observed. I have suffered a lot from hemorrhoids all my life. But with tamoxifen treatments and now Letrozole they are active

Ibrance and immunity
Hello all, I'm just starting my second round of Ibrance and Letrozole. I was pleased that the side effects weren't too bad the first round, just really fatigued day 19-21. Getting out and walking helped. Question for everyone: I am a high school teacher and go back to school in 3 weeks. I'm worried

Stomach and bone mets
Hi, I have stomach mets and I'm taking Ibrance 75mg and letrozole. I have coped fine for a year, just small meals no side effects. Now as I begin to eat it feels like a bubble in my chest which gives me terrible pain front and back, then I can't eat anything else. I have lost weight and now look dreadful

On 5th round of clomid out of 6, just had an internal ultrasound and I have a cyst. Anyone tried letrozole?
Hi, New to this group. We have been trying for over 2 years. Over this last year had various tests etc. Yesterday I had an ultrasound and they informed me I have a cyst on my left ovary (had the same test done 6 years ago but this wasn’t mentioned). Been trying clomid for the last 5 months and so far

Tingling in left calf/lower leg
I’m on Ibrance & letrozole with bone Mets since June 2018. Relatively fine but last week I started to notice a slight tingling in my left leg. It’s not constant and I can’t connect it to any recent change in activity. Has anyone else had this symptom? I will contact my doctor but I’m wondering what this

Pain in bones? & Budwig protocol?
I had my 3rd bone injection a few weeks ago and now I have really bad bone pain. Is this a bad sign? My knees are really hurting today. I’m 7 months in to Letrozole - does that hurt knees? I’m so fed up with all of this. Has anyone tried the budwig protocol? Cottage cheese and flaxseed oil?

Hi - I'm new here
I've been poking around here for a couple of weeks and decided it was time to jump in. Diagnosed in 2008 - right after my 50th birthday - with stage 3 breast cancer. Bilateral mastectomy, removal of most lymph nodes on affected side, lots of heavy chemo & radiation. All stayed quiet on Letrozole until

1 day Fasting
Hi, me again!. Hope I'm not annoying anyone with all my posts but I'm relatively new, reasearching anything and everything and just have so many questions. So now I have loads of juicing ideas from my last post - thanks for that, it really helped me - now I'm looking at incorporating fasting into

Letrozole
I have been told I need to go on Letrozole for post op treatment of low grade serous ovarian cancer. All I can find online is scary reviews which seem to indicate horrible side effects. Anyone got any feedback for me on how you got on with Letrozole? Thanks

Letrozole
Thanks for the information on the different manufacturers of Letrozole. I went to get a refill for 90 days and requested the Teva brand made in Israel. CVS pharmacy said they would order it in for tomorrow. Thanks again for letting us know that there are several manufacturers and to ask for Teva. We

First scan results - mixed news
So having completed my first round of Ibrance, I've had my first scan and been back for results today (had quick scan because of breathing problems). There's good news and not so good news. I'll start with the not so good because I always like to finish on a high :). So, I've been getting more breathless

Amazing news!
I was diagnosed with stage IV mbc one year ago. I had rather significant amount of disease. Primary tumor in breast, several lung nodules in both lungs, and extensive bone mets in spine and pelvis. I was started on Ibrance and letrozole. I did well for 3 months but at the 6 month PET scan I had progressed

Blurry Vision
Anyone have this side effect? I'm on Letrozole and Ibrance and a few times now I've had vision that seems to be a bit blurry or shaky is the best way I can describe it, with little squiggly lines in my peripheral vision? Meds? or Brain metastasis? of course that's where I go first but looking for
