9yo ADHD and at my wits end
He is on
methylphenidate
20mg once daily and guanfacine 0.5mg twice daily. I’m so depressed. I just want to enjoy life and not feel like a total garbage mom… but I’m so burnt out and every day feels like an insurmountable challenge.

European travel question
My wife is very concerned about an upcoming trip to Europe having been told by Spain that
methylphenidate
is considered a narcotic there. Obviously, our son cannot stop taking his meds, but we are concerned with clearing customs/ immigration.

Additionally, several small trials have found an increase in energy with the use of stimulants such as
methylphenidate
(Ritalin), dexmethylphenidate (Focalin) and modafinil (Provigil).

Newly medicated, concerta, now Ritalin.
After a little bit of research I see Ritalin is also
methylphenidate
which has me wondering if it’s going to make me feel exactly the same way as Concerta?

UK bupropion supply issues: Is it possible to get a Buproprion prescription fulfilled in Europe, then imported back to UK? If so, how?
I do take stimulant medication, but bupropion helps with the things
methylphenidate
doesn’t. The sanity of our family relies on bupropion being available; if you know how to, please advise on importing it ourselves.

5-year-old swallowing meds
Hi all, my son has today been prescribed 2.5mg of
methylphenidate
twice a day for the next 30 days to see how he gets on with it. It has been a long road to this point. (we are in the UK) Guilt and worry aside....how do I get this guy to take the meds.

Needing Support During Medicine Trials
My son just started trialing
methylphenidate
this week. While it hasn’t been as hard as many of you have had it, it’s been a tough week on top of a tough year! We have four children six and under, and our oldest has severe ADHD and autism. The baby and toddler were sick this week.

Medication confusion
We've tried
Methylphenidate
, Metadate, Adderrall, Vyvanse, Concerta and the old patch. These were tried at different ages but most caused more anger, not enough sleep, losing weight and loss of almost all short term working memory.

How to stop a 5 year old from biting people?
The developmental pediatrician who diagnosed him suggested trying Adderall - but we can’t see how that would help the biting any more than the
methylphenidate
did. Another pediatrician in the practice suggested guanfacine, which seems like a better option than another stimulant.

New to Vyvanse 30mg... Not sure it's working yet... What Should I expect?
But so far, it kinda feels like I'm just on the same 60mg dose of
methylphenidate
that I've been on that has been losing its working power. I'm not sure what I expected, I am keeping a daily journal of how I'm feeling every day of my 7 day trial.
