I started taking medication for adhd -

amantadine, norepinephrine, locus coeruleus, methylphenidate (Ritalin), ceruleus
More recently, adding 5 mg/day of
methylphenidate
has helped ease daily tiredness. Nonetheless, Parkinson's deterioration continues in its unhurried pace.

Potassium, magnesium, and a little more calcium
By the way, if you are on add medications (
methylphenidate
or Adderall, Vyvanse...etc), keep in mind that those pills directly affect the central nervous system and stimulate hormones that affect your fight or flight responses.

Ritalin and Parkinson's
(
methylphenidate
) I'm surprised I had not heard of it being used in PD before, given the benefits they report. It helps quality of life, mood, apathy, and facial dystonia, but has primarily been used for improving gait and reducing freezing.

Recently diagnosed with AMN
It seemed to be a choice of
Methylphenidate
, Amantadine, or Modafinil. I couldn't find any doctor who would prescribe me
Methylphenidate
, but I was prescribed Amantadine and Modafinil. The Amantadine didn't work, and I wasn't too happy about taking a drug intended for Parkinson's disease.

Their responses were so weak that Volkow had to double-check that the

she was giving them hadn’t passed its expiration date.

Lab refusing antibody test - Any suggestions?
On a side note: A point which may or may not prove significant - I'm adult ADHD and am currently taking 60mg of
Methylphenidate
a day. I've not seen much in the way of literature but does this drug exacerbate Hashimoto's in any way? Many thanks for reading, -Dan.

Anyone taking Methylphenidate for brain fog or improved movement?
She perscribed
Methylphenidate
, 5 mg tablets, however to take only 1/2 a tablet just once a day in the morning, she said that I could increase to one tablet after a week. She knows that I hate meds, fought taking anything for years, but finally had to in order to function.
