Follow-up EOD injections
I am self injecting SC, 1ml
Methylcobalamin
EOD, the numbness in my hands, muscle weakness general fatigue has not gotten worse, after 3 months it’s about the same. My question, should I take everyday instead of EOD?

B-complex—200 mcg Vitamin B12 (
Methylcobalamin
) ANRC Plus—600 mcg Vitamin B12 (As Hydroxocobalamin and
Methylcobalamin
) B-complex—Other Ingredients: None ANRC Plus—There are many other ingredients ANRC Plus that I looked at but have no knowledge of.

Using Oxford Biosciences Methylcobalamin as safely as possible
Obviously injecting from a multi use vial with a screw top lid is a less than ideal situation, but it seems that this is currently the only way to obtain injectable
methylcobalamin
. Do any users take any special precautions to reduce the risk of contamination?

Arnika Apotheke say their ampoulles don't need to be chilled?
They sell
methylcobalamin
and adenosylcobalamin, and say they should not be refrigerated.

Liver function
(Methyl folate and
methylcobalamin
, which is B12, are fairly inexpensive.) I was diagnosed last year with Cirrhosis. According to the liver specialist, my liver is still functioning and could for years. I am watching my diet to make good choices for my long term health.

Taking B12 injections daily.
I really thank you guys for all your patience and understanding, since learning from this site I began injecting 1 ml
methylcobalamin
EOD, seriously, since August 2022. Improvement is slow and frustrating.

Any Side Effects from Methylcobalamin injection?
Any side effects to look out for? I’m finally getting methyl injections twice a week (along with a cyano injection once a week). The reason why is because I can’t get the cyano more often than once per week (it’s a prescription through my doc) and there’s a health spa type of place nearby that gives

Worsening symptoms despite injecting 2mg B12 daily
I would like to try
methylcobalamin
but it seems very hard to get hold of these days. Tablets/sublinguals don’t do anything for me. I’ve even tried not injecting at all (for a 10 day period) but my symptoms just worsened even more during this time. Does anyone else inject more than 2mg per day?

Even the euthyroid have problems
I was found to have low B12 last year (129 197-771 ng/L) which was not due to diet but probably malabsorption and which I raised easily with oral
methylcobalamin
. This may still have left a mark in folate which is below the middle of the range. And digestive issues persist.

Can oral B12 supplements help in a functional B12 deficiency and more q's
Previously I was taking digestive enzymes, Solo brand multi B vits, liquid adenosylcobalamin and
methylcobalamin
, mangesium, probiotics, reduced glutathionine, zinc, vitamin C, D3 and K2, and lots of natural anti virals/bacterials (as I suspect chronic epstein Barr virus and resulting dysbiosis and development

Fewer Injections, more injections or stay the course? Please advise.
I have been injecting 1 ml of
methylcobalamin
and cyanocobalamin, eod, alternatively for about a month. Sometimes, the numbness in my hands feels like it’s getting worse and now my right leg is weak. Should I inject once a week or skip a week.

Thinking out loud
Im now thinking that the severe dry mouth and dehydration could be caused by diabetes . Maybe when I added levothyroxine my body started getting rid of insulin too fast... I've heard hypothyroidism, diabetes and celiac happen together a lot. I only had one test where my glucose was in the pre diabetic

Am I Taking the Wrong Vitamin B12? Adenosylcobalamin (AdoCbl) vs Methylcobalamin (MeCbl)
Thanks to Gigi216 for sharing a link to this document: Vitamin B12 modulates Parkinson’s disease LRRK2 kinase activity through allosteric regulation and confers neuroprotection 2019 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6462009/ I noticed they were using AdoCbl, so I got my bottle and found

Help with diagnosis (GP) and anyone sought help from private healthcare?
The last major set back was 6 years ago following a particularly stressful period in my life, when I eventually learned about liquid adenosylcobalamin and
methylcobalamin
liquid and folate supplementation, after failing to get anywhere with my GP and to date I still don't have a diagnosis of any cause

Advice needed- do I have pernicious anemia?
Hi everyone! So I was hoping to get some advice on whether it's likely I have pernicious anemia based on my symptoms and B12 readings. My symptoms started back in 2011, when I was only 18. I started having these weird "episodes" where I would feel dizzy/almost drunk, my legs and arms would feel heavy

low B12 - should I ask for injections?
I am 47 years old and suffer from dizziness (off balance and not able to walk for long distances and the heart races) and anxiety. After 15 years of being fobbed off as anxious and being asked to do breathing exercises, Last year, I found that I was low in B12 and got liquid supplements. I must add that

Thyroid Results
Vitamin D is optimal last check, B12 is around 500 but Im taking a methyl b12 and folate that is helping a lot. Ferritin is high. Starting phlebotomy soon. Protein is 9.8 and the range is 6-8.5. ALT and AST also went up above range. Not sure what that is about...So anyway my doctor agreed to add T3
