ET/melanoma correlation, Anagrelide (XAGRID©) and I.D.R.
The mole was removed and tested; a stage 1
melanoma
was diagnosed and a wide local incision was performed. The dermatologist assured me that there is no connection between ET, Hydréa and
melanoma
. I also emailed my haemotologist at the time and have just received his reply(!).

Genetic result; CDKN2A mutation: does it mean anything for my approach to PCa treatment?
Genetic testing has revealed CDKN2A mutation which leaves me a higher risk for skin cancer and pancreatic cancer, wasn't too surprised as my Dad had
melanoma
. Report says: "it is unclear if this CDKN2A mutation is related to the prostate cancer of this patient.

First Essential Thrombocythaemia and now melanoma!
I was called back into her office last week to be told I have a Stage 1
melanoma
. I had surgery to have a larger piece of skin and flesh removed the day before yesterday (ouch!). I'm wondering whether the two (ET and
melanoma
) could somehow be connected. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

subungal melanoma? should i go to the doctor?
I have had this line on my nail since late sept./early oct. 2019. I’m really scared it might be a nail cancer, but compared to other pictures I saw online.. it’s not as pigmented and has not noticeably grown larger. I have hit my nail on things a bit, as i’m sort of clumsy. Also the nail takes longer

Melanoma wait and watch
Went to my appointment today and dermatologist looked with her little eye scope and measured it, she decided not to do biopsy because she said it’s normal boarders and looks to be age growth. She’s going to see if it grows in 5 weeks. I’ll go back and she’ll look again. How do you guys feel about what
