I get 2x/year checks with my dermatologist, but looking to see what else i can do to be proactive. I am looking for info on the latest in detection approaches using 2D/3D imaging if anyone here can help with this.
So basic questions like does it work and is it available, what are the downsides?
Any other suggestions on what i can do for monitoring or other tips for folks like me who are high risk of developing melanoma given the gene mutation.
Any info super appreciated.

Sorry to see no-one has responded to your query but I think all this is very new and maybe not out in the general NHS provision. I guess it's a case of scrolling through websites such as Cancer Research UK and Melanoma UK to see if either have news articles about this.
thank you for your response LR. I did also post over on the UK site and will look at others. I find Dr Google doesn't have the latest info, and in this area, that is critical as technology can move quickly and seems there has been significant progress on apps, mole monitoring and machine learning to detect cancerous moles that could revolutionize the whole approach to self monitoring. So interested to get the latest on this, any clinical trials, etc, will post here my findings if it was deemed appropriate for this community.
