My neuro wants to take me off of ocervus an d put me on mavenclad because of to many UTIs. Is any body taking mavenclad ?

Hi all! Believe it or not I’m still waiting for medicine. Now with this being a short week I’ll have to wait even longer! I’m not happy about it and I am in a whole bunch of pain and achiness! I have taken Aspirin, if anyone has suggestions I’d love to hear them! I doubt the dr will call me back

They put me on Mavenclad. The insurance company denied the rx twice already! They called and said they were approving me for a 10 pk but the dr was prescribing 8pk. So I have been trying to call dr and have left messages describing the situation.

hi everyone! It’s been 5 days now and I think I’m a little closer. Yesterday MS Lifelines called and needed my consent to the insurance company to give them my medical information. I am not yet there but I think I am closer!

I don’t think it’s all MS, maybe it’s due to being off my medicine for so long (waiting for Mavenclad to get approved), maybe it’s because of the “change” Whatever it’s from these are literally a life saver! Thank you!

Hi all, I posted a while back about stopping Ocrevus and starting Mavenclad. I am turning into a skeleton waiting for the Mavenclad to be approved 💀🦴💀🦴 (figuratively, not literally), and tomorrow my Ocrevus infusion would be happening if I had not decided to switch.

Lemtrada, Tysabri, Mavenclad? Others? Or, do I just stop DMTs (but I am fearful of having relapses). I'll be 60 next month. Just wondered what you think? I'm open to any ideas or perspectives. Thank you, Elizabeth UPDATE - I had my appointment with my neurologist this morning.

With Mavenclad you eventually get to enjoy a period without the immunosuppression, and hopefully (God willing) a more well-behaved immune system without MS activity.

I took 7 pills over 5 days for year 1, month 1 and 2. Same for year 2 course. I took with lunch meal, as I take other meds both AM and PM. Glad to report I had zero side effects. All days were just 'normal' days. Had MRIs after year one, no new lesions. Had recent blood work andy lymphocytes are

He's starting Mavenclad in the next month so I hope that helps. He's tried treatment once in the past but gave up and has been against treatment since but wanting to try again. All help and advice is appreciated.

I had five new brain lesions not taking anything so I wanted to go back to Avonex instead of trying Mavenclad and I'm glad I spoke my mind to go back onto it. All's well so far! Speak your mind, listen to your body and follow your bliss however simply you can do it.

My boyfriend is starting his first round of Mavenclad tomorrow morning. I am anxious and scared. Him even more so and so worried and apprehensive. I'm playing it cool and super supportive and encouraging although I too am freaking out inside.

Hey there, I am looking for some advice and information on Mavenclad. My boyfriend is about to start taking it, and although we have read and found so many resources online we are looking to find information from people who are currently or have taken it.

Right now he is in the second year of Mavenclad and has not had any new lesions since he began taking it but he is losing the use of his legs and mostly confined to a wheelchair. My two sisters and I live minutes from him and help him with things he can't do.
