My brother was diagnosed with MS in 2019 after being misdiagnosed with a stroke in 2013. Right now he is in the second year of Mavenclad and has not had any new lesions since he began taking it but he is losing the use of his legs and mostly confined to a wheelchair. My two sisters and I live minutes from him and help him with things he can't do. He still lives alone but Medicare won't cover someone to help him with his shower. Are any of you aware of any programs that might assist us in getting this kind of care?

I'm sorry to hear your brother has ms. Thank you for being his advocate and looking out for him 😇 . Unfortunately I don't have an answer for you as I'm still mobile. Maybe some of the ms organizations might have info to help you find a local agency that provides in home care.
If you live in the U.S., contact your city or county health department or senior services center. Also contact MSAA (800-532-7667) a toll free helpline and NMSS (800-344-4867) for regional numbers who may have information.
