Enta- and opicapone experience
These are the same end of dose symptoms which I have when I am on
Madopar
only, but this time they were much worse, which I found inexplicable. The episode lasted about 4 hours and only then I regained control over my movements.

Madopar
Hi, I’ve recently started taking
Madopar
. I can’t detect any changes yet, apart from the fact that it seems to make me extremely tired. I just wondered if anyone else has found it effective?

Long time everyone...two broken shoulders and a series of other disasters
Advocating for myself to take my
Madopar
on time and avoid the added agony of dystonia to two broken shoulders every 3 and a half hours with whichever nurse was trying to avoid eye contact was a Greek tragedy.

Parkinson's wife
I have a feeling that the problem with
Madopar
and Sinemet is the decarboxylase inhibitor which blocks vit B6. This vitamin is vital to so may other functions in the body. Anyone else found the same ? Any advice appreciated.

night time pain
My neurologist has prescribed me slow-release
madopar
overnight. This is proving completely ineffective. The only reliable way I can get a decent Sleep is to take codeine ibuprofen painkillers. I do this only a couple of times a week because I don’t want to develop a dependency on them.

madopar vs sinemet
I’m planning to switch from sinemet 125 mg (levodopa carbidopa combination) immediate release to
madopar
Controlled release 125 mg (levodopa benserazide). Based on your experience, do you think it’s safe n is a good idea?

DBS update
I might thrive on a particular dose of
Madopar
and then the next day would be stuck whilst on a walk after having taken the same. It was very hard to plan anything. The month following the actual operation was a drag.

Psalm 119:143
I'm currently on
Madopar
187.5mg x4 times daily. i also supplement that with 2x500mg magnesium daily. My most obvious symptom is a tremor in my right arm which ebbs and flows, i also have a husky voice from time to time. i have tried Vit B1 sublingual daily dose of 100mg.

DBS switch on news.
Took a couple of
Madopar
but they don’t seem to have worked, at least with bradykinesia. So I’m not sure yet gang. It was a WOW in terms of dystonia disappearing but it’s odd that pharmaceuticals which previously worked well, seemed to have stopped working in tandem with the DBS?

Whole-body shaking
I was given
Madopar
and a huge dose of Rotigotine which made things infinitely worse. The Rotigotine made my muscles extremely tense which caused the whole-body shaking. I'm trying to understand if the shaking I experience is a PD symptom or not.

My perfect cousin…………..(intestine related)
Context: had my first dose (200mg
Madopar
and a Comtan) at 7 am. Came on by 7.30, went really well until by 9.30 I could feel that I was going OFF. At 8, I’d had a breakfast of chia seeds (I’m such a ‘modern man’ 😂🙄), oats with banana and almond milk.

Dystonia: WTF?!
Solution:
Madopar
Dispersible 50. This dystonia now, if I’m really low on dopamine, attacks my stomach, feet, back muscles, neck - and as I witnessed during my ‘no drugs allowed’ period - my jaw.
