can mucuna increase hallucination?

my father has been taking mucuna successfully. A friend of his suffering from hallucination decided to swap one madopar dosage to mucuna, His wife just reported that the hallucination has gone worse with mucuna,

For my hubby, too much of any form of dopamine can trigger hallucinations, including macuna.

It is maybe dosage -related, if they are worse now with the macuna.

My husband has been taking 100% organic Mucuna Powder for 12 or so years and has never had a problem.

It sounds like the Macuna they are using is stronger than the meds it was replacing. I saw a study which showed that companies are not always accurate in the dosing they put on the bottle, presumably because batches vary in strength.

Is it just bean powder 100% natural or is it an extract that is standardised?
