No down regulation before FET (with endometriosis)
Please tell me that this is okay for when I do an FET? I had prostap on a previous cycle which failed and had it again in September with the intention of having an FET the next month. That cycle had to be cancelled because of spotting related issues and lining not developing. I then had a mega long

medicated vs natural cycle for FET - any tips?
hi everyone, I’m 9dp5dt (fresh transfer) and tested negative and have my period. We have one frozen embryo and my clinic have said we can choose to do a medicated or natural cycle for the FET, they will discuss in more detail in the coming weeks but ultimately said it will be our decision. This is our

Asthma Drs do they know.
Hi There are times when I can’t breath, but when I check my Sats they are between 90 and 95. But I still struggle, the hospital Dr says it can’t be bad as I am between 90 and 95. I am usually 85 up my peak flow is 250 best and 150 in the morning. I don’t know why I struggle at that No but it’s scary

feels like my period :(
I’m day 8 post fresh embryo transfer on my first cycle. I started bleeding yesterday and thought it was implantation blood but today it’s so much heavier like my normal period.. I thought the progesterone meds stopped my period?! I’m so so gutted

FET this week. Anyone else?
hey all, I have my 5th FET on Wednesday. Trying to feel positive but struggling tbh after 3 failed transfers. Anyone else doing a transfer this week? The only difference to this cycle is my clinic have added in lubion as my progesterone was low on the last one!

I was diagnosed with coeliac in April 2023, I had been losing weight, was feeling tired , had a bloated stomach and cramps, especially after eating bread and pasta. I was also anaemic. since been on a gluten-free diet for the past eight weeks, I feel a lot better. I am happy to cook my own meals as

Quitting work
Unsure of the purpose of this post but I guess if it helps someone else then that’s it! Well I finally had to quit my job aged 35 - my symptoms have become incompatible with it and I cannot keep calling in sick, nearly having accidents on the commute, sweating when someone is taking ages in the only

IVF and exercise
I was just wondering if anyone had been given specific advice on exercise while having IVF. I feel like my doctor is a bit vague every time I ask . I’m 33 and usually exercise 3-5 times a week, either HIT or weight training and have done so for years ( a CrossFit style gym). I stopped for the egg retrieval

Fellow gym goers during FET…
I’m half way through an FET - went straight into this one off the back of a failed round so been on Progynova oestrogen x3/4 per day for about 7 weeks. I’m a regular gym goer and teach classes at a gym too, but recently I’m finding exercise so hard and really suffering with a sore lower back and hips

PGT-M for BRCA1
Hi all, Hope everyone is doing as well as they can be on this crazy IVF rollercoaster. Just want to see if anyone has any thoughts or has been through a similar situation... My sister in law has breast cancer and has tested positive for BRCA1 (caught early and doing well thankfully). My husband is

How could AI help in asthma care?
Hi all! I have a question for you: as an asthma patient, how do you think AI could potentially help meet needs you have that aren't currently being met? For example, I have been reflecting on how doctors could potentially use AI to more accurately diagnose, treat, and educate patients. For me personally

Soiling Issue
After 2 years of chronic constipation I disimpacted my 6 year old last October which resulted in less soiling. My son was even getting the sensation of needing to go again maybe 3-4 times per week. We managed to wean him off Senna (started to give him tummy cramps) and have stayed on a maintenance dose

5 days of provera done - now waiting for a period to start letrozole.
Hi everyone , as you all may know I have decided to put my second IVF on hold to give my body a chance on Letrozole. After the loss of my baby at 21 weeks and a failed fet and not responding great (112 gonal f) which was probably why! I have decided to try and trust my body . I say try because i

Fresh transfer took place on Monday! Anyone in the same boat?
Hello all, This is our 6th transfer (fresh this time!). It almost didn't happen as my progesterone blood test was borderline (high end) on egg collection day and the doctor advised against a fresh transfer (freeze all protocol and FET in Jan). However I pushed for a fresh transfer and it was finally

Disbelief 5dp5dt FET…
Took a test because I’m a maniac and I’m sure I can see a line. I can’t believe it…. I know it’s crazily early and it could all end in a chemical but for now I’m delighted. Implantation is a step further than before. Sending lots of love and baby dust to anyone in their 2WW. ✨ 💓

respiratory medicine
I have an appointment at the hospital for respiratory medicine consultation. They have requested that I bring- peak flow diary, all medication and my asthma management plan. I have never had a peak flow diary or asthma management plan, should I have been given these by my doctor?
