endo says maybe allergic to all thyroid meds?? what do I do?! any advice??
so I saw Endo number 4 late last week who (like the other 3 endos before him ) had no idea why I cant tolerate levothyroxine (any brand, including liquid), NDT or
Liothyronine
in anything other than the smallest quantity and, even then, I suffer side effects on the smallest dose (and I mean like 12.5

Dr switched me over to 75 levothyroxine and 10
Liothyronine
today. Please help! I am feeling so defeated today, I cried in the doctors office and everything but I’m so tired of feeling like crap and being told to be patient.

Is Mayne Pharma Liothyronine better than Sigma Pharma?
My doctor put me on
Liothyronine
several months ago. The pharmacy gave me Sigma Pharma but my doctor told me that is a dud and that I should be on the Mayne Pharma because it is more potent and works better. At first I felt better on Sigma but I have gotten worse again.

Brexit and Liothyronine
Does anyone have any idea what will happen regarding sourcing T3
Liothyronine
outside of the UK privately once we leave the EU, which is now definite since the Conservatives have a large majority in the House of Commons.

Dieting with Hashimotos
I’m on Levothyroxine and
Liothyronine
medication. Has anyone successfully lost weight when their thyroid levels are optimal. I’ve been going to the gym for a little under 3 months. I only do cardio workouts. Treadmill, cross trainer and rower.

Puffy Eyes from Low Thyroid
My T3 was not doing well so my doctor put me on
liothyronine
. I was supposed to take mayne pharma brand but the pharmacy accidentally put me on sigma so I have to get mayne now. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do to help with this eye swelling underneath my eyes? I have tried everything.

Referred back to specialist - querying if I need Liothyronine
This specialist will then decide if I really need
Liothyronine
. I have always had to fight tooth and nail to be referred in the past and it was a battle to have
Liothyronine
prescribed. I feel so stressed - I appreciate that I have been lucky - is there anything that I can do?

Struggling to source Morningside Liothyronine tablets. Any suggestions please?
My GP put it on my record a while ago that my
Liothyronine
may be withdrawn (cost). Every time I put in a repeat prescription I say a little prayer. I absolutely don't want to have a
Liothyronine
discussion with my GP.

Interesting page I Found On Hypothyroidism
Information for patients currently treated with T3 (
liothyronine
) T3 (
liothyronine
) treatment for hypothyroidism (either alone or in combination with T4 [levothyroxine]) is no longer available This is a local policy which applies to prescriptions from GPs and from endocrinology clinics.

NICE guidelines now out
I quote:
Combined levothyroxine and
vs levothyroxine alone
There was evidence of a clinically important benefit of combined levothyroxine and
in terms of two aspects of quality of life, although both outcomes came from short-term follow-up studies.
