Amlodipine
hi I have many symptoms of hEDs (I was kind of diagnosed when my dd was), I take levothyroxine and
liothyronine
for thyroid and I've also been diagnosed with highish blood pressure and I've been given Amlodipine. Will these meds cause me any issues do you think?

I was on 175 levo and 25
liothyronine
. I felt crappy but did strict keto and was able to lose weight down to 247. My endo said my levels were too high and took my
liothyronine
down to 5 per day and my weight shot back up to high 260's.

Blood pressure meds
hi lovely people, I take very high doses of levothyroxine and
liothyronine
and feel great when I do, there doesn't seem to be any side effects caused by them. However, I have developed blood pressure (genetic cause) and I've been given Amlodipine. Any thoughts as to what the combo will do to me?

Enlarged thyroid from medication?
(I seemed to be on a good track with NDT but again not available on NHS) I don't have hashimoto just a conversion issue for which I am.prescribed
liothyronine
. Most recently my dosage was upped to 40mcg but my numbers both t3 and the keep going lower.

In reference to the consequences of long-term treatment with
liothyronine
(LT3), we respectfully point out that there is now solid data that LT3 does not increase the frequency of adverse reactions if serum thyrotropin (TSH) levels are maintained within the normal range.

My latest test results, advice urgently needed
(Maybe reducing Levothyroxine and adding a small dose of
Liothyronine
might help? ). I've done some research and T3 is sometimes used as the augmentation therapy for treatment resistant depression, which sounds quite promising.

How does hypopituitarism fit with hypothyroidism?
However - as the thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) is borderline low too, and Free T3 is normal - this pattern would also not be surprising if you were taking T3 (
liothyronine
) instead of levothyroxine as thyroid replacement medication.

This encapsulates the basic logical problem of diagnosis and treatment
In some hypothyroid patients who are dissatisfied with treatment, especially those with a polymorphism in type 2 deiodinase, combined treatment with levothyroxine and
liothyronine
may be preferred.
