Laparoscopy scheduled in 3 days time, any advice/tips will be much appreciated.
Hi ladies, Scheduled for a
laparoscopy
in 3 days, and I feel really anxious about it.😞🙏🙏 I was wondering if you could share any pre-op and post op tips? Anything that might make my recovery a bit more comfortable? What should I expect post op? Will I get my results then? Thank you ladies.

Anyone with a similar situation?
Long story short:- Diagnosed non-STI PID. 6 months of antibiotics on/off. Every-time antibiotics stopped, symptoms started back up. Sent for a lap at a private hospital. Opened/shut, diagnosed as Stage 4, told I had to go BSGE for surgery, Zoladex started at post-op. Went to BSGE, fobbed off for months

Gynaecology appointment - what do I bring or request?
About a month ago I had an appointment with a gynaecology consultant and I was told that there is a reason for my pain but as my BMI is too high I cannot be allowed to go for a
laparoscopy
as I am high risk.

Could this be bowel endo?
Hi all I had a
laparoscopy
in October and I told them beforehand that I felt like I had bowel endo, as I often bled from my back passage during my period as well as diarrhoea. They informed me that they would check the surface but wouldn’t check inside.

I was diagnosed two weeks ago with endo during a
laparoscopy
. I’m currently in a relationship with someone who has two kids from a previous marriage, is still going through a divorce and is looking at his living arrangements for him and his two kids as is still in a one bed flat.

Went to the doctor today:
Well I was taken seriously at the Dr today. I am going now ….. to a specialist She has ordered ultrasounds Lab work (ok I’m used to that). She said endometriosis doesn’t show up on anything but laparoscopic tests. She said let’s get to the bottom of this . I swear she had tears in her eyes. (Slight

Wondering when I’ll see improvement.
I had a diagnostic Lap on 8th November. Diagnosed with peritoneal endo accross both sides. Started cerelle at the beginning of December. I had only just stopped bleeding after my op and the mini pill made me continuously bleed until 3 weeks ago. (I’ve been given iron tablets). As soon as I stopped

Surgery finally scheduled but feeling so lost!
Hey everyone, I hope you’re all doing as best you can, I had a phone call with my endo specialist a couple of days ago and I’m being scheduled for another
laparoscopy
as my endometriosis has returned from my 2017 surgery but it’s affecting my bladder and bowels a lot worse now.

Undiagnosed 10+years, chronic fatigue, bowel issues, pelvic pain etc
I had a diagnostic
laparoscopy
which showed a Multicystic Benign Mesothelioma or multiocular lesion. It has been called different names by different specialists. This was quite large from what I remember, 9 x 12 or larger.

Hi, does anyone know the waiting list time for laparoscopy?
Hi, does anyone know the waiting list time for
laparoscopy
? I was diagnosed in November. Also, has anyone felt like the mini-pill has helped regulating their pain? I also want to have kids in the near future, should I start planning now?

Diagnostic Laparoscopy.
Hi all, I have my surgery scheduled for 21st December, however, unfortunately I have a throat infection. I have been put on antibiotics by my GP. Does anyone know if this means I have to cancel my surgery? Thanks in advance x
