loosing the will
I have recently swapped from 1 grain armour and 50mcg t4 tirisont to 100mcg tirsont and 9.5mcg of compounded t3. I can’t even explain the level of fatigue I feel as though I have been hit by a bus (whole body aches), can hardly move or get out of bed. I am also experiencing. I am having a lot of histamine

NDT what is it?
I' d like an alternative to levo, preferably a vegan choice if possible. I got no offerings here, perhaps if I new the alternatives, I could discover sources myself, then suggest changing to it with my doctor. many thanks

extremely confusing goiter/ultrasound
I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this for me or if I will have to live being confused forever… I have had a diagnosed ‘moderately diffuse goiter’ for the last 7 years (maybe longer looking at old photos). I am negative for all antibodies (tpo, tgab) and have had these tested lots of

Changing Thyroid s to Levo plus T3
Back in 2015 I joined this site after my thyroidectomy and after taking the brilliant advice on here I have been well for over seven years. Now due to a dud batch of Thyroid s I have decided to change to Levo plus T3. I have been taking 2.25 grains per day split into twice a day which has keep me well

Challenging the TSH Mantra - what to do next? (long post)
Saw my endo last week : was told that she couldn’t 'in all conscience' treat a patient whose TSH was suppressed especially with increased risk of heart attack/osteoporosis (I argued this was less than 1% but was ignored). Was told that TSH is the ONLY physiological test that is accurate for ALL thyroid

symptoms after increasing armour..
Hi everyone, I am wondering if anyone can help answer a few questions I have if possible please. I am in the process of getting my Armour dosage up and experiencing terrible symptoms each time. I was previously on 1.75 grains and finally had a patch of feeling a bit better. My Endo told me to increase

Scaly skin on eyelid, itchy and red conjunctiva
Hi all, hope everyone is well :) I've been feeling pretty good lately, and I'm due for another blood test to determine my NDT dose soon. The puffiness in my eyes and face have continued to improve, and the difference is quite noticeable. All of that being said, however, I noticed around the beginning

Vitamin D & tolerating thyroid medication
Hello, Thanks so much for your time in reading my post, I would really appreciate any/all opinions on this. I am currently investigating why, ever since I crashed from 2 years of Keto, I can't tolerate thyroid medication. I have discovered I have extremely low adrenal function and am now treating

Pregnant medication increase?
Hello everyone, I am 7 weks pregnant and just realised that I may meed to increase my medication by 25mcg but neither my GP or the early pregnancy unit advise me to do so and I just came across it online. I'm worried because I last had my thyroid tests done 3 days before I found out I was pregnant

NDT in the UK
Ok, so I am a little confused (doesn't take much 😅) I happened to mention that NDT isn't licensed in the UK on a FB group I am on for RAI and Graves disease. A lady in the states said its now "legal" in the UK and posted a link to the Thyroid UK website which states this: American and Canadian brands

Anybody had increased long term Hashi's antibodies after Pfizer covid vaccine?
Hi all, I still remain unvaccinated (i am a pro vaccine person) as I have felt absolutely dreadful ie, too many gut flares etc, too weak to stand for more than 30 mins per day all 2021, and can manage 3 hours per day 2022 since switching /increasing meds NDT. I was about to take the adeno AZ last

Endo for Hashimoto's in Kent
I have been hypo symptomatic for years (only realising this is a thyroid issue in hindsight) - low energy, weight gain, fatigue, depression diagnosis, brain fog...amongst many other symptoms. I have had my thyroid tested a few times on the NHS, but always came back normal and I never thought to question

Reducing NDT
Hi everyone, I have redone the thyroid panel after stopping supplement with biotin (small amount) for over a week but my results are still too high. I’ve got Hashimoto’s and been on 3.5 grains of Thyroid S for 4 years now. I gave birth 3 months back and started new batch of Thyroid S a week after.

DAY 6 of move from levothyroxine to NDT - feeling unwell
Hello! Feeling down and annoyed at myself! Have been prescribed NDT as I was becoming more hypo again on a lowered dose of Thyroxine (following a random period of TSH being suppressed with higher normal FT4 - had put this down to a Hashi flare (although thanks to this forum this may be questionable

blood results
hi I have recently had thyroid blood results - I was previously taking 50mg levothyroxine and 10mg t3 without much success and continued fatigue and diggings, muscle twitching and weight issues and have been switched to 2 NDT per day so hoping for some better results. My results were as follows if
