ERFA to Armour NDT
Hi lovely people (and fellow sufferers), I am moving from ERFA (unreliable product) to Armour NDT. Can anyone recommend a good supply and cheaper the better obviously. Also has anyone had ERFA and Armour and how did it compare? I was on ERFA 30/8mg (along with Levo from NHS) and it was going

Has anyone done Isabella Wentz’s Adrenal Transformation Programme?
My thyroid now appears to be well treated (I’ve actually had to reduce my dose of NDT as it appears to have kick-started my thyroid, and my FT3 went above range), and my doctor now believes my remaining symptoms are down to HPA axis dysfunction, which a 24 hour cortisol test suggested I was in stage

Interesting effect of NDT. Anyone else experienced this??
i've been on NDT since July. Gradually building up towards 2 grains. Currently on 1.5 as a split dose -- 1 grain in the morning, 1/2 as I go to bed. The night time dose was only added since end Aug. I've had dreadful back pain at night. Usually about 4 hours after taking NDT and about 3 hours sleep

Thyroid Hormone Change Armour Thyroid to Tirosint/Cytomel
Hello, I recently requested to switch from Armour Thyroid 3 grains to a Tirosint Cytomel combination so that I have more flexibility with T4/T3 ratios. I was proposing Tirosint 137 mcg and Cytomel 10-15 mcg and redoing labs in 6-8 weeks. The CRNP switched my dose to Tirosint 112 mcg + Cytomel 10 mcg

Taking NDT, TSH currently 0,020 (range: 0,270-4,200) TSH suppressed:where can I get info to give to endo??
I was hypo last year and my endo insisted that I was hyper (something a lot of fellow patients have encountered). Having increased my ERFA meds & re-started DHEA, I felt things were getting better - at least I've been feeling better. Just doing a pile of blood tests for my French gp of which the thyroid

biotin and test results
hi everyone! :) Me again regarding those high T3 results. So after posting last time I realised that one of my postpartum supplements has biotin in it- I’m wondering how certain can I be that biotin is behind my crazy results :) - does it always interfere? Also any advice on how long do I need to wait

On combined t3/t4. FT4 and FT3 at bottom or out of range but increasing the dosage is barely raising the blood test results, TSH suppressed
I am at a loss regarding my blood test results over the past 18 months for FT4 and FT3, plus TSH. I wonder if anyone has insight, as I'm concerned that while my FT4 and FT3 results remain very low, the endocrinologist is now suggesting reducing my dosage as the TSH is suppressed. I feel very tired all

NDT & blood tests - when to take it?
I've been taking ERFA Thyroid for the last 11 years: was told not to eat anything before blood test so in fact by the time blood test was done it would have been about 24 hours more or less since I had my last ERFA /NDT treatment. I've seen that some people split their dose so that their last NDT is

Do I try levothyroxine only?
I have been hypothyroid since 2007 and felt well taking levothyroxine until around 2016 when I started to experience hypo symptoms again.
My private doctor tried me on Erfa NDT and I stayed on it as it helped and then switched to Metavive.

Help to understand my brother blood test results.
I have hypothyroidism and here I found all the help to try to understand my symptoms and conditions. I’m at the moment on NDT and things are getting better every day. My brother have some of the symptoms that can be related to hypothyroidism, lack of energy, stomach issues, brain fog… He finally agreed

Cellular T3 & cortisol
I must add the following edit since I have researched this question after links were kindly provided - this is what I now understand:
Low cortisol causes T3 to work less effectively within the cells. This is because T3 and cortisol are partners within our cells. High cortisol also causes problems

Coming to the end of my thyroid journey
Hi everyone, I feel I’m coming to the end of my thyroid journey and am asking for any final suggestions. I had RAI for Graves 2014 and nine months later became hypothyroid and very unwell. I’ve been sick since May 2015. Zero energy, debilitating fatigue and a general feeling of being unwell nearly

muscle pain and weakness on levo
hi everyone, 3 days ago I swapped from 1 grain armour plus 50mg of levo (tirisont) to 100mg levo (tirisont) and 9.5 mg of t3. I am having problems with muscle pain and weakness. To use the expression I feel like I have been hit by a bus, would be the only way I can describe it. This seems to happen

New member with lots of questions about levo and NDT
Hi everyone, I just joined. My name is Anna and I am from Denmark. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto´s disease in December 2002, based on a high TSH, low FT4, and high anti-TPO and anti-TG levels. I was told it was very easy to manage, and that all I needed to do was to take levothyroxine until my TSH
