Using keytruda
My husband had his first treatment with
Keytruda
and developed a topical rash all over his back chest and feet. He is concerned about the risk of not being able to continue this treatment. Anyone with experience with this treatment.

Lung cancer and keytruda treatments
He has had two rounds of pallative radiation.and three weeks ago had his first
keytruda
treatment. He developed a rash on his back, chest, hands and feet. Dr delayed his second treatment this week due to the rash. He is worried that they will not continue treatment due to the rash.

Bad news for me
Went for
Keytruda
infusion yesterday but as it turns out it is not working for me. My tumors are rapidly growing still. Started a new poison (chemotherapy) instead. Fingers crossed.

Updates on laura
I have started my
keytruda
treatments. That is going pretty good. I just am tired a few days after the treatment. I have had a breast scan which located a few lumps in both breasts. The oncologist is going to schedule a biopsy to check further into that.

Constant cough
I'm getting
Keytruda
now so cannot take steroids. Has anyone else experienced this cough after radiation? If so is there any hope of it going away?

I'm new here
I'm on the clinical trial (immunotherapy)
Keytruda
for triple negative, metastatic breast cancer. So far it's thankfully shrinking my tumors! I'm happy to connect with other women on this site. Thanks again, SHARE Cancer Support! Chiara

New to Mets, on Keytruda
I'm on
Keytruda
immunotherapy and it's shrinking my tumors. I'm also flat - my explants were recently removed because I just kept getting infections from the reconstructive surgery. I wish you all the best! xoxo Chiara

Stage IV NSCLC - Very Agressive
He took his first infusion of generic
Keytruda
two weeks ago, and is to take his second infusion in a week. As his caregiver, it is so hard to see the pain he is in, even though he has morphine and hydrocodone. As of today, he will begin radiation treatments on his belly for his severe pain.

A Question on PD-L1
I've been reading about the immunotherapy
keytruda
, It mentions something about PD-L1 levels... I'm wondering if this is generally checked when the do the original biopsy to confirm malignancy? As the doctors have never explained it to us. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

An immunotherapy now approved for first-line treatment
Late yesterday, the FDA approved
Keytruda
(an immunotherapy) as a first-line treatment for patients with lung cancer whose tumors express high levels of PD-L1. This means that
Keytruda
could be used as the first treatment after diagnosis (instead of chemotherapy) in some patients.
