My husband had his first treatment with Keytruda and developed a topical rash all over his back chest and feet. He is concerned about the risk of not being able to continue this treatment. Anyone with experience with this treatment.

Using keytruda
Hi PC13849 .. I had IMRT on my left lung for cancer on March 27-28+29. I have a big long rash with some discoloring on my skin on my back from my radiation treatment. My Radiation Oncologist Doctor told me the rash will go away over time ( I'm putting Aloe Gel on mine cause it burns still ) But the rash is from the radiation itself as what Doc told me. As long as NO nerves were hit everything will be ok. Hope this will help some.
Thank you for your reply but I don't think that is the cause with my husband's rash. He is being treated with prednisone and now the rash has spread to his chest, groin, hands and feet. We are off to the dermatologist in a few hours to see what the cause is.
I had rashes to and am 6th immumo w keutruda, I use a cream that after a few days rashes disappeared and didn't return. It's AlClometasone DIpropipnate Cream. Prescription. Hope it was for your hubby, good luck
