Bad news for me

Went for Keytruda infusion yesterday but as it turns out it is not working for me. My tumors are rapidly growing still. Started a new poison (chemotherapy) instead. Fingers crossed.

Sending best hopes that chemo works well for you. A leading lung cancer researcher who spoke at a conference I attended last year said "Chemotherapy is not a consolation prize", which heartened me - chemo will be my next line of treatment. Which regimen are you on?

Carboplatin and pemetrexed. Have had the carbo before with taxol with good results so hoping for the best

Do you have a gene mutation? Is this why you were on Keytuda? How long were you on it before they determined that it was not working?

How long were you on keytruda before you knew it wasn't working I'm supposed to go on a trial with computer and some other drugs never been together I'm the opposite is you my taxal didn't work

I did 3 infusions 1/3 weeks

So sorry you are going through this. I always felt my chemo and radiation treatments were poison too.
