Kesimpta

My Neurologist has switched my Meds from Ocrevous to Kesimpta this week. I felt like Ocrevous was a miracle drug the 1st 2 years I was on it, but it started wearing off up to 3 months early. My Doc suggested once a month self-administered Kesimpta which I take my 1st dose today.

Hi all , if you have a high jcv is kesimpta ok to take? Anyone on kesimpta, would love dome feedback 🙂 🧡 any symptoms? I'm terrified of getting heart pslps orvertigo honestly please xx worry wart over here

I alternate which leg I do my Kesimpta injection on, and this month (month 6) was my left leg's turn. Which is also my weaker, more painful leg. And it has been hurting more of late.

I know that a weakened immune system is a consequence of taking Kesimpta, just wondering if your body adjusts over time, I've just been unlucky with the bugs or if this is it for the duration. I've had 3 viruses a cold and separate Sinusitis in about 8 weeks.

My mom was diagnosed with MS and is doing well on Kesimpta and healthy diet and exercise. I am conducting a survey on the effects of diet and exercise on MS symptom severity for a school project. I would really appreciate it if you could spare five minutes of your time to complete this survey.

I started Kesimpta in July and am doing better as far as symptoms I have had my ups and downs. Despite having a wonderful support system, I feel alone.

The Kesimpta wasn’t working for me anymore. They put me on Mavenclad. The insurance company denied the rx twice already! They called and said they were approving me for a 10 pk but the dr was prescribing 8pk. So I have been trying to call dr and have left messages describing the situation.

Currently, I'm on Kesimpta for my treatment. I'm here looking for support and connection 💗

I have been on Kesimpta for 2years. Anyone else have that problem? Any luck with immuno therapy? Thank you!

I think I spent most of last week on the phone trying to get my Kesimpta worked out, with the wrong specialty pharmacy! But, got all that fixed finally, huzzah!

I'm currently taking Kesimpta and was previously on Tysabri. The pamphlet for Kesimpta states PML could develop. My Doctor took me off Tysabri because my JCV number was almost 2. When I asked about it he stated no one on Kesimpta had developed PML. I wonder how they know it's a risk?

I know my immune system is really low from the Kesimpta. I saw the numbers from my lab test just this month. Wow😦. And my Kesimpta is due this upcoming week, but neuro says to delay it till the sinus and other infection are gone. I did get up and go to PT on Thursday..

Neurologists recommend not becoming pregnant until six months after taking Kesimpta.

So I've made the decision to start the Kesimpta and I'm going in for my 3rd weekly start up dose.So far, the side effects are very mild. Almost non existent. However, I'm continuing to have that blurred sensation coming and going between both eyes.

I'm rather nervous now that it is really going to be here, and I was wondering if anyone else who is on or has been on Kesimpta would let me know of any tips for when I take it? Like, did you take a Tylenol before you gave yourself an injection? Did it help?

When it jumped to 1.71 my Neurologist took me off and 2 months later I started Kesimpta. It's very easy and convenient to use the injection pen just once a month and it is mailed to my house. I did well on Tysabri and I'm doing well on Kesimpta I think.

So my next move is Kesimpta or back to Copaxone.... Any info on Kesimpta would be awesome! Missed you guys!, 🤗💕🌠

I had my Kesimpta yesterday... it's still giving me flu like symptoms, but I must admit, not as bad as the loading doses. I barely slept a wink last night and I've only managed a short nap or two so far today, and have a fever. I'm taking stuff for it, but it is making my body temp go haywire.
