financing iui/ivf using donors
Hi does anyone have any advice on how to finance iui/ivf? I spoke to my GP who told me same sex/solo women have to finance the first 8 rounds of IUI privately using unknown donor sperm before the NHS will help. I’m 36 so too old to get discount at private clinic (via share), am aware the sperm banks

Polyps and IUI
At my baseline scan last week a 3mm polyp was found on my lining, it wasn't there on my first round of IUI, which resulted in a BFN, but has appeared this time round. I am now in the difficult position of deciding whether to carry on with round two, due to surge tomorrow or Saturday, or to stop and investigate

Hycosy & Coil
My consultants next steps are to have a hycosy exam. I have finally had to booked in after months of delays but been given barely any information on this. Can you have a hycosy with a mirena coil in place?

I’m currently having investigations into Endo-sorry long post but need some advice or any reassurance:)
Hi I’m Sara and I’ve just turned 22, this month, and over the last 3 years I have symptoms (similar to the ones listed for endometriosis) and they have become more severe or more frequent/longer episodes that have been stopping me from working or functioning properly (exercise, sex, going out); it has

Copper T Coil and Skin (health in general)
Very little is written about the negative impact that a 10 year Copper T coil can have on one's health. I once came across a website which highlighted that there are negatives to know about... yet, it appears that the rest of the Web denies its connection to ailments. I'm suffering with a skin issue

Advice/support much needed!! 2nd round of icsi
Looking for words of encouragement or support as I’m getting ready for my second round and feeling really anxious and negative. My background: Had first ICSI cycle in Feb. Only got 3 eggs, 1 wasn’t mature, 1 was fertilised but didn’t make it, 1 made it to a low grade blast and was transferred on day

Contraception
Hi. Just over 2 and a half years ago I had the merina coil fitted. Now from a few months ago I've started getting really bad period pains and very heavy bleeding every 2 weeks. Has anyone else experienced anything like this.

prostap and bleeding
I have had three surgeries for removal of endometrioma cysts. My third surgery was 7th sept this year. They put me on prostap (started 8th sept) and kept my Merina coil in. I have had merinas for 10 years with no bleeding at all. This morning, I have woken up to heavy bleeding. Has anyone else experienced

Contraception and Epilepsy.
Evening ladies,This is just a quick one to see if anybody else has epilepsy and endo. One of the epilepsy meds is contraindicated with a lot of the pills. Coil and bloating
hi everyone. I had a coil fitted 6 weeks ago for endometriosis and since then I have been bloated constantly. I’m currently having peppermint tea, apple cider vinegar before and after meals, and buscopan but I seem to be bloated all day every day, no matter what I eat. I’ve recently cut out bread which

second laparoscopy
I had my first laparoscopy in Sept 2021 when they drained my 6cm endometrioma. Now, 2 years later my endometrioma is back so I was offered a second surgery in Oct. I was told the risk of complications (stoma bag) is greater with the number of surgeries. Now I am not sure why is that? I thought my

IUI vs. IVF
Hi, Firstly let’s tell you a bit about mine and my OH’s situation. We’ve been TTC for 2 years, I’ve had an internal ultrasound, HyCoSy - all fine and clear. My AMH is normal and I have regular periods. My OH’s results are also all normal apart from low sperm count. so we’ve been told to go for IVF

Advice??
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has a bit of advice? Long story short, I was diagnosed with endometriosis following a laparoscopy in July 2020. This was carried out by a non-endo centre with a private surgeon due to covid and NHS waiting lists. The treatment I had there was not the best, the surgeon
