Over range T3 on combination T3/T4 medication
In March last year her Medichecks tests came back as follows: TSH - 2.31 (0.27 - 4.2) FT3 - 2.84 (3.1 - 6.8) FT4 - 11.4 (12-22) We also discovered her Ferritin was extremely low (12) and she received an
iron
infusion for this.

Elderly mum's blood test results (part 2)
On the very recent blood test they did an
iron
studies test and FBC but found nothing. I didn't ask for the pernicious anaemia test - would it be a good idea to do this tomorrow? My mum does have slow onset dementia too so all this is very hard for her.

Ninja Gp 😀 appointment
I sent an online request for a full
iron
panel and the elusive vitamin D.test that was promised last time ...and asked to speak about the recent diagnosis of autoimmune thyroiditis. .. within seconds of sending the request I got a text message asking me to make an appointment..so again booked online

Asking for support following GP 'Results Normal' response
Yesterday I sent in a two page letter to the GP putting in all my recent results (posted elsewhere) and asking them to look at my folate, B12,
Iron
panel and consider increasing my levo to 100mcg. I detailed my symptoms and background.

Any red flags in these results or am I barking up wrong tree?
My Ferratin levels are within range but I tend to feel better when higher so I have switched from Ferrous Sulphate (which did nothing despite taking for months), to a Heme
Iron
suppliment.

Enlarged Lymph Nodes & Vaccines
Like many of us, Fatigue is an ongoing problem, and at last I have been given an '
Iron
' supplement in the hope that it will approve matters in that regard. I am also told that it takes 1-4 weeks to kick in. Has anyone had similar experience's?. All the best. Ron.

Is this a "normal" reaction to NDT?
I supplement with
iron
, folate, B12, D, etc and test my levels regularly. I take it at least 4 hrs away from the meds. Thank you for your input.

Coming off HRT patches
Having had no sense from GP's I took my health into my own hands and started my own regime of supplements, including
iron
, as I discovered my ferritin had been low for all the time I was symptomatic (~ 6 years).

⁸Low Haemoglobin
I have been more focused on an
iron
rich diet over last 3 weeks plus better dietary consciousness. My question after reading lots of posts... various people have had low haemoglobin and gone through the barrage of tests only to find the results inconclusive.

Any thought as to why ? ? ?
Mean cell heamoglobin conc, blood 313 g/L Low 😗 I cant help but wonder why considering I am prescribed folic acid plus I take gentle
iron
. I had a full blood count done when I saw the reumatologist but as yet not received the results to compare. I shall try and chase them up tomorrow.

Amgevita - low energy
I've emailed the hospital today to ask if it might be chronic illness anaemia or due to
iron
deficiency, just waiting to hear back from them. I'm tempted to just go and get some Feroglobin
iron
capsules as this fatigue isn't much fun. Appreciate any advice.

Iron panel results - is this normal or something to be concerned about?
I haven't been taking any
iron
supplementation for a while. I tested because I've been ill (chronic urticaria) and haven't been able to tolerate
iron
supplements. Fasted over 12 hours beforehand, didn't take anything with biotin for over 10 days.
