Seretide and Addisons disease
I feel my quality of life has deteriorated and my GP thinks I am being negative about changing
inhalers
. I am not, and when I asked if he was able to take advice from respiratory team he didn't respond positively.

Fostair inhaler
I took one of my Fostair
inhalers
apart the other day and found that they contain lots more powder than the device tells you.

recurrent fungal infections & reaction to probiotics
At times I have found it difficult to catch my breath, so my GP prescribed asthma
inhalers
- they haven’t helped.

Inhalers.......
Not sure if anyone can help. My 84 year old husband has bronchiestatis and maybe other lung conditions. He also has Acid Reflux and this can result in lung infections if the food gets into his lungs - the specialist told him this. However he has now decided NOT to use the spacer but to squirt the Fortistair

COPD question
I have a prescription for Salbutamol
inhalers
which don't seem to do much. I think it's just really down to old age and a few other things I suffer with, which I didn't go into, but no one thing that could be regarded as needing a badge. I don't use any walking aids or get Attendance Allowance.

Yendo’s history with lung problems.
She gave me various
inhalers
over the ensuing months and I finally settled on Advair which seemed to work better for me. I had no further asthma attacks as I continued using Advair, but in 2004 I was diagnosed with COPD.

What to do after prednisolone rescue ended?
GP told me to start stepping down the Alvesco immediately I stopped the prednisolone so yesterday (27th) I cut it to 6 puffs of both
inhalers
. This morning I woke early and breathless with PF back down at 310 again.

It's part and parcel of my life now it's not going to go away all I can do is keep it well managed and controlled by taking my

and seeing my asthma nurse for check ups.

SWOLLEN ANKLES WITH LUNG CONDITION
The surgery rang me a few weeks ago to discuss my meds and he said I hadn't been diagnosed with either COPD or asthma and why was I on
inhalers
, I told him I didn't know, he said if I felt there were doing me good to stay on them.

Soprobec 200 inhaler and systemic steroid side effects/withdrawal, help??!
I have since found out it is possible for these
inhalers
to only spray out propellant, and not the actual medicine, as they near the end of their life. Soprobec is the cheapest brand they can prescribe, and I have never really got on with this inhaler.

ongoing issues
He also changed one of my
inhalers
as I felt they were not doing that much. Plus I have a wheeze going on in the lungs. As now on metformin for diabetes 2 (though last test was good) he is wondering if this is stripping me of B12 so blood test to check.

Palliative care
He says no more lung function tests or CT scans, a triple function inhaler instead of three
inhalers
and full time oxygen instead of ambulatory. What else can I expect from palliative care? What can I ask for?

Acid Reflux and Asthma
I am on omeprazole plus a couple of the usual
inhalers
. Recently I cough a lot, usually fairly dry with some sticky phlegm in my throat that I clear in the morning. I am told this is classic GORD. My question is who else has this mix of issues? What have you found helps?

Palliative care, does it still exist?
He changed me from 3
inhalers
to just Trimbow. Said I should go on full time oxygen and was to be given palliative care. After 2 weeks I chased my local GP's surgery to get the Trimbow. The oxygen nurse came last week.

Lung Cancer Treatment
In August the hospital changed my
inhalers
to Anoro + Easyhaler. I know cancer treatments are improving every day and also wondered if there is anything else new?
