Why is my breathing suddenly so bad?
My
inhalers
are flutiform (2 sprays twice per day which I have been taking during all of this time - I even tried doubling, tripling and quadrupling the dose to no avail) and ventolin (as needed - sometimes 8-12 sprays per day) which of course does help but not like it helped me feel normal prior to

New inhaler but not steroids please? Asthma/COPD
I've tried steroid
inhalers
and they have been a nightmare! I have too many side effects off them so it's a no go. So looking for an inhaler which i can use long term without having many issues! I tried to do a job around the house And used some exertion (not much) and then was out of breath!

I'm with you Pootle1973
I have symptoms every single day despite
inhalers
& have steroids with every cold \ huge trigger. But not in last 3 months because I'm in lockdown & only go for a local walk, son's not at school. Big surprise. Being so careful comes back to bite us, how convenient for them.

Is this good or bad?
Tmi but I've just brought up a lot of mucus for about 10 minutes with constant coughing. I have started a stronger and new inhaler after an asthma flare up two weeks ago. Is this good? Is this my lungs bringing up all the bad stuff from the flare up?

Hi hope all is well with you all. During an asthma flare up which started 12 days ago I was given 5 days prednisolone 40mg daily and another inhaler (Atrovent and then replaced by Spiriva a week later). I normally need a 2 courses of steroids and step down to sort out the problem, but as I’ve had too

Questions about Spiriva and referral
Hi, I’ve just taken my first dose of Spiriva and am always a bit edgy when taking new things 😅. I realised after taking it, that the instructions didn’t say anything about shaking it before use, is that because it’s a different kind of inhaler to Fostair which is my other inhaler? Also it didn’t

Recycling inhalers
Does anyone have any idea of the current state of affairs regarding recycling the plastic component of
inhalers
? GSK had a scheme, but just now when I looked for that webpage it was no longer there.

Blood blisters in mouth from inhaler
Hi everyone! Having a very bizarre side effect of what I think is being caused by my steroid inhaler! Has anyone experienced blood blisters in their mouth? I just have a very small one on the roof of my mouth.... 😬!!

Emphysema
I use ventolin, fostair 200/6 and spiriva respimat
inhalers
. I am prescribed 2 ventolin, 2 fostair and 1 spiriva per month. I have sent a cd to the tribunal from the hospital that contains xray and ct scan images. Any idea why the dwp would do this ?

36 year old with Asthma/COPD
Was diagnosed with Asthma/COPD Overlap (ACOS) in 2019. I am only 36 and it took over 3 years to get a diagnosis, cause the consultants couldn't believe, at my age I had COPD. I am using a Trimbow inhaler (3 therapy inhaler LAMA/LABA/Steroid). I also have rescue inhaler. Only 3 years of having ACOS

I feel lost
Hello, I am new to this forum but I really needed to talk to someone. So, I have stage 4 emphysema. My drs haven't told me anything about the condition. I have either learnt about it from living with it or looked up on the Internet. I have had a test on a machine and that's when the nurse said that I
