I'm currently permanently on Prednisone as
inhalers
do not work for me and hoping with these injections to be able at some point come off Prednisone. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Please help me breath. I'm desperate
It was hands down the worst time of my life, I was on
inhalers
, montelukast and 40mg of lansoprazol and nothing touched the air hunger at all. It feels like my throat is closing up! After 8 months, it pretty much went away. Skip to 2 weeks ago and it's come back again with a vengeance.

Infuriating Asthma Appointment
So i had a follow-up appointment with my asthma consultant at the hospital today and he told me that he doesn't think I have asthma despite the fact that I have been diagnosed asthmatic most of my life and that I don't need to take
inhalers
or nebulisers or use steroids and antibiotics.

Colomycin
I always nebulise Salbutamol before starting the nebulised Colomycin I'm using my
inhalers
so much because of the chest tightness that I feel shaky. My mouth and throat are always dry despite drinking so much water. I tried Oralieve dry mouth relief but it doesn't seem to be working.

The steroid load from
inhalers
, nasal spray and nebs I've been told is around the equivalent of 15-20mg prednisolone - I've been advised by the ADSHG and Pituitary Foundation if requested to withhold all meds, to not withhold all the meds which contain steroids, as this will place me at risk of an adrenal

Happy Monday 😊
I have had COPD for years now, taken lots of different
inhalers
. The specialist told me I have severe COPD, and told Trimbow is the best Inhaler for me, even though it only gives me short relief together with Salamol.

Raw/sore throat & Inhalers
Hi All, I've had asthma for the past 45 yeats and used
inhalers
both brown and blue for 43yrs. In the last 6yrs I've been suffering with an irritated throat with a lot of white patches and the odd red spot or thread like lines on the roof of my mouth and back of my throat.

and have another asthma attack 6 months later which renders me not able to go to my work for a week, I go to my asthma nurse and get told that I just need to up my preventative then go back down to what I was on before (bare in mind there was no trigger for this

Inhaler Recycling
I would therefore encourage readers to take their used
inhalers
back to their pharmacy (if they are not doing so already) as I suspect many
inhalers
are recyclable.

New to the forum Peak Flow questions
I've been given
inhalers
in the past usually to do with hayfever (which I don't get now) but never diagnosed with Asthma. I saw Asthma nurse about 4 years ago before being referred on to cardio respiratory again by cardiac consultant. All normal apart from this type of heart block.

Steroid Inhalers and thyroid levels
Does anyone know if steroid
inhalers
for asthma affect your thyroid levels. I am undergoing investigation for breathlessness and consultant suspects it is late onset asthma. Have been using an inhaler (Fostair) for 3 weeks which thankfully has improved symptoms.
