Fostair and tremors
I found that when I went back to my previous treatment of Serevent and Qvar the tremors went away, but I am told there are no combination
inhalers
that have a different long acting beta agonist, is this true?

Another attack
Montelukast and three
inhalers
prescribed by consultant. Cold weather not helping. So spending a lot of time watching tv. No energy for anything else. Not so much a moan but sometimes there’s just the need to tell someone. Thanks for listening. Apologies for the long ramble.

Anybody suffers from seasonal asthma and use inhaler on demand?
I suffer from seasonal winter asthma. Currently on mart regimen fostair nexthaler 100/6 twice a day. Previously was on becotide twice a day and ventolin as required. I usually stopped taking them before summer and start again beginning of autumn. My mum told me this combi should be taken all year round

Too nervous to exercise
I have copd during the first lockdown I took the government advice and shielded. I returned to work once we were allowed out again and never shielded again for my mental health. Since coming out of the first lockdown I haven't exercised at all. Before lockdown I was doing my 10,000 + steps a day but

Have run out of fostair nexthaler 100/6
I thought I had a spare canister but just found out I have run out. Since it is Easter bank holiday I am hoping I will be able to manage until I get a prescription on Monday. Previously when I was on becotide I usually stopped taking it about this time but due to covid I have been taking it regularly

Asthma??
Hi All Not sure if this is asthma or not? Coughing, starts as a tickle then I get mucus, sometimes cough up frothy spit I'm coughing that much I'm nearly sick, it gets worse at night, I'm on steroid inhaler twice a day but it doesn't seem to be working as I'm still using the blue one too much, 8 puffs

Husband's COPD getting much worse - needs help
I apologise in advance for the length of this post but I am desperate and lost. Any advice is welcome. My husband has severe COPD and I am really concerned about him. He is 52 and was diagnosed several years ago. He still smokes around one cigarette’s worth of tobacco a day but is increasingly struggling

Crackling popping lungs when breathing
Hi, after a little advice or similar experience.... 5 weeks ago I developed a really tight chest and non productive cough out of nowhere, no illness. Stole my husbands fostair inhaler 3 days in as really struggling and couldn’t see go, got through it but it was horrendous, really uncomfortable and could

COPD... Pulmicort/Symbicort for out of breath issues only?
Hi All, I think after trying a few different
inhalers
, I may try pulmicort or symbicort as this doesn't seem to cause people issues? If possible I'm fine with ventolin as I know that, so may just get the budesonide on its own (pulmicort?)

inhaler problem
I use Fostair which is the best I have ever been prescribed, however from about a year ago they started running out way before the counter reached zero and have recently got worse, now i regularly have my inhaler stop working with up to seventy doses still indicated. I have been told that I am imagining

Bronchial Spasm
Last night was a bit of a scare for us. John started not being able to breath. (He has MSA-C). He had an episode in the morning as he woke, where he couldn't get a breath, i ran and grabbed his inhaler (not knowing what was going on, as I had been in the other room. He took a puff, and within 30-40

Given lower dose of preventer
Hi all, me again! I picked up a new inhaler today and used it this evening. After I used it I realised it is a lower dose than my old inhaler which has confused me because I was told I’d be getting a stronger one. I was on clenil 200 “puffer” 2 puffs, 2x a day; new inhaler is fostair 100/6 powder 1 dose

Clenil and potassium
Hello everyone, I’ve just picked up a new inhaler (fostair) and haven’t taken it yet but have read the leaflet. It says something about risk of low potassium which made me wonder if my clenil inhaler has also got a similar risk but I haven’t seen anything specifically about it. I’ve had lots of muscle

New inhaler but not steroids please? Asthma/COPD
I've tried steroid
inhalers
and they have been a nightmare! I have too many side effects off them so it's a no go. So looking for an inhaler which i can use long term without having many issues! I tried to do a job around the house And used some exertion (not much) and then was out of breath!

Hyperactive airways?
Hi, so in December 2019 I was referred to the hospital chest clinic for testing. There they performed an x-ray, spirometry, blood test etc and the doctor who did this mentioned hyperactive airway sensitivity. I didn't receive a letter from the doctor with results - however they put me on the brown inhaler

The mystery of why I wake up at 4am
For at least 4 weeks I have been waking up regularly at 4am. I thought it was another reason with another long term condition. Had my medication adjusted and it still happen. Last week and the week before that I had to use my inhaler at night once. This week 3 x at 4ish starting Monday but not last night
