Levothyroxine
I started on
immunotherapy
(Opdivo) the end of February. Almost no side effects, except I gained twenty pounds. I thought it was from being off Tarceva after six years and not having anymore stomach issues. Maybe a bit put Opdivo blew out my thyroid. So started hormone replacement.

PC
Hi my name is Bill age 63. I have stage four PC Gleason 8 and 9. I was first diagnosed about fours years ago PSA 53. I was too late for surgery so I had radio therapy 45 sessions. I've been on Lupron from the start and went through Casodex as well. My PSA jumped to about 150+ before starting Zytiga on

The thyroid hormone triiodothyronine reinvigorates dendritic cells and potentiates anti-tumor immunity

Please Tell me about Immunotherapy.
I was researching on net and learnt about
Immunotherapy
. It is recently started in India (in Delhi called as "Dendritic cell
Immunotherapy
"). Please tell me that does it really reduces the chance of relapse in future. Should my mother go for that ?

Hope is on the way.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/technology-science/science/doctors-battling-stop-cancer-hail-7377474 However, does T cell
immunotherapy
work on B cell leukemia? This question is above my pay grade. Still, this breakthrough gives me hope.

the end of the race for a PD cure
"...any certified
immunotherapy
is at least six to seven years away". !! While I've learned to not get too excited by medical developments in PD (and, in particular, to the time frames suggested) it's hard not to feel a tinge of hope when reading this piece from today's Boston Globe.

Chronic Mild Productive cough
Before i start
immunotherapy
i have to rule out if there is anything causing this cough except Allergy.(Like thyroid or Larynx) Can B12 deficiency cause productive cough? I know it can cause nerve damage in Larynx but then cough should not be productive.

Did This really happen?
The only reason I went in the first place was to see if I would qualify for any
immunotherapy
trials, but Gunga Din said that chemotherapy has to be a first treatment before I would be considered for a trial.

I am not sure how long this has been around, but I hadn't heard of it before. It certainly looks promising for people with some types of cancer. I see skin cancer treated this way has been successfully treated and lung cancer held at bay. A lady in the article has had an extra two years of life, following

How Long To Wait For Trials and Treatments ?
The taking of the Chemotherapy and
Immunotherapy
are thankfully over, but remember it stays in your system for some while (6->8 weeks as best I know) and I’m still suffering from falling red blood cell count and Neutrophils, so I will hopefully be in for a red blood cell transfusion later this week.
