I also tried fluorouracil cream and an immune stimulant cream, imiquimod, both ineffective. Is there anything new and effective for treating warts?

My gynaecologist wants me to start on imiquimod rather than any more invasive treatment but I'm reluctant as can find only 1 case study which suggests the combination if this plus Hydroxy/MPN could result in cytopenia. Does anyone have any experience of using imiquimod while on Hydroxy?

She gave me aldara/imiquimod cream to put on the outside. A week later, I shaved down there in order to be able to see better where I was applying the cream, because I could barely see the wart myself. In shaving, I think I cut the top off the wart.

I am on week 4 of using the imiquimod cream. What are your experiences of it? I'm finding it to be not very effective and it's made an awful mess of my neck and shoulders. I'm not a vain person but it looks awful! Do you notice the improvements in the later weeks such as 5 or 6?
