Suspected Hydrosalphinx found before egg collection
We are having
ICSI
due to poor semen & had all the tests (hycosy, all the scans you name it). Yesterday I had my last scan before egg collection and the nurse thinks I may have Hydrosalphinx. There was no mention of this on my scan Wed, I have no symptoms and I’m just devastated.

Failed first cycle- debrief.
ICSI
will be used this time in order to select the highest quality sperm possible. They also suggested for me me to try extra progesterone in addition to the pessaries which might help but isn’t funded, it would cost £180.

Is there any hope?
So I became pregnant with my rainbow twins (3rd pregnancy, 2nd IVF/
ICSI
attempt). Unfortunately I went into premature labour at 21weeks and lost them both. My husband and I are completely broken. I just don’t know what to do. I’m 33 with PCOS and I just can’t have a baby. Is there any hope?

First transfer…now for the 2WW
We had 11 eggs mature enough for
ICSI
, so I suppose I hoped to have more embryos to freeze.

Sperm DNA fragmentation -
We were due an EC in January and the clinic just want us to try MACS
ICSI
which we haven’t done before. But I’m reluctant to make more embryos if there’s something we can do to improve the sperm, even if it means waiting a few more months! I'd love to hear your thoughts on this please.

Has anyone done IVF and been told their eggs are destroyed?
Apparently my eggs are falling apart and they can't even fertilise them with
ICSI
in the lab. I'm 35 and told this shouldn't happen at my age but no doctor can tell me why it's happened.

*Sensitive* Little One Has Arrived
Hi all, Our little girl has finally arrived after 2 years of infertility, 2
ICSI
rounds of egg collections and one transfer, ostensibly to treat severe male factor but actually, as it turned out, as a work around to my inability to produce many eggs too.

Clinics specialising in low egg reserve/AMH- please DM me!
With
ICSI
no luck. Short protocol: 7 follicules (right ovary "lazy"), 3 matured... Any other helpful suggestion would be well apprecited. Many thanks! All the best to you! xx

Suggestions on questions for next steps 🙏🏻
We have to have
ICSI
as my partners sperm is slightly on the low side in count and morphology. Are there any other avenues to be explored? I have asked about immune stuff but my clinic seem quite dismissive. But I’m thinking I would want to pursue this avenue a bit more.

Has anyone tried PGT-A over 40 and has it worked?
My partner and I have had one NHS funded
ICSI
cycle which resulted in 10 eggs; 6 fertilised but only one could be used. Our implantation failed 13 days post implantation. I have to say, I was pretty naïve going into the whole process.

First cycle timing with delayed ovulation
Feeling a little stressed about logistics of first
icsi
cycle and needing some good vibes I'm entering the final couple of weeks prior to starting my first ivf cycle and starting to feel a bit anxious because my usual ovulation timing is delayed.

Bad News: Zero Fertilisation
We got a call yesterday to say none had fertilised so there's nothing to transfer. This is our 5th
ICSI
(3rd at this clinic since 2020) and even low our fertilisation rates haven't been high, we've never had none. I feel in shock and completely numb.

Low AMH of 3, needing hope
I’m nearly 39 and the doctor said I’d have a 10-12% chance of a live birth from
ICSI
. She also said we could consider donor eggs but should start taking DHEA, just ordered it. We will absolutely give
ICSI
our best shot and just want some hope as hearing 10-12% devastated us.

FET cancelled due to thin lining and delayed bleed
Following
ICSI
we couldn’t transfer due to thin lining. However we were lucky to get some embryos to freeze. We tried our first medicated FET (started 6mg Progynova, increased to 8mg day 13) unfortunately it was cancelled due to lining still not thickening.

NHS funded round
any success stories on NHS rounds for
ICSI
and how successful they were. We are at the top of list and have cmv bloods in two weeks so we’re moving quick now x Exciting times again 💕

Total Failed Fertilisation - Unexplained Infertility
First round of IVF we got 11 eggs, 7 mature and 0 fertilised and were told to try
ICSI
which we did and got 14 eggs, 9 mature and 0 fertilised. Totally heart-breaking and really at a loss with where to go next.

PGT-A testing
Hi all, I’m likely to start
ICSI
with a new clinic offering mild treatment. They have suggested PGT-A testing. I’ve never had my embryos tested before. The package I’ve been offered includes one embryo being tested and then £350 for each embryo thereafter.

Advice for coping mentally with ICSI/IVF - Sorry for the double post!
Even during our very recent 1st round of
ICSI
, we were upbeat and positive, but realistic. Aware of the worries and never expecting a guaranteed successful outcome.
