Skin wounds while taking ibrutinib
Hi Elnaazz,

I also had problems with my skin ever since I was diagnosed with CLL in 2008, but on Ibrutinib the rash was much worse.

An expert dermatologist at NYPresbyterian has been guiding me, and he treats it similar to eczema or psoriasis, emphasizing moisturizers, and trying to avoid frequent washing with soap. When it is worst I use a light dosing of topical steroid cream for a few days and then standard skin moisturizers twice per day.

I have just finished 6 cycles of Rituximab and am continuing with Venetoclax for a further 18 months. I too experience "wounds", maybe too strong a word, but something like a scrape or knock which doesn't heal over rapidly as it used to (scab). I haven't been treating them although they do seem to eventually dry out. I had put them down to low levels of neutrophils or platelets, but all of my bloods are now normal so perhaps these will resolve. I might try the mild steroid cream for something positive to do.
