I have heart failure. Approx 38% ejection fraction. I'm on Entresto and 6 other tablets including Dapagliflozin, eplerenone , beta blocker, aspirin, and a statin.Tested for new drug to enter trial, but my BNP was too low (44). Feel very fatigued at times but try and walk or do some sort of exercise

Cannabidiol and anti coagulants
I replied to Jean Jeannie’s post about Food Additives. She suggested I posted separately about this. I recently received some OTO Sleep drops as a gift. They are designed to be taken under the tongue just before bed, and contain 10% CBD with a ‘complementary blend of botanicals’ . This forum has

Dr. Joel Wallach
Is there anybody who has heard of the teachings of Dr. Joel Wallach who says that AF is not caused by a condition of the heart but instead because the Vagus Nerve is being "pinched", either along the spine or at the head where it enters the skull. As you may know, the Vagus Nerve goes down the length

Scared. Mind is racing. Mom needs heart surgery.
I've posted before kind of on this topic but since I've become more agoraphobic and neurotic and shut down and hiding in my house. My mom needs heart surgery. She is my best friend. She is 82. I am 47. I don't have a partner or kids. I have a brother. He helps sometimes but he isn't completely emotionally

Good News…..
In August I became ill with what amounted to heart failure symptoms, breathlessness, fluid on lungs, circulation issues. A bnp test came back with moderately high readings for heart failure (1300) . I eventually had an echocardiogram and have been waiting for the results. Meanwhile I discovered that

Catching a cold when you have fibro - turns out it’s COVID fml
Do you find that when you catch a cold you are affected much worse than other people around you? I never get ‘just a sniffle’. I always say I’m a woman who gets man flu. My partner went to work right through his cold even though he felt quite rough. I just got up to make a drink and dragging my body

Third Attempt.and Fail
Well, Made a trip four hours away to another EP to attempt another ablation for Atrial Tachycardia. Yet again, now a second time, this ridiculously elusive rhythm evaded them and they could not do the ablation . Not sure what options that I have left to me now. Probably will have to take Metoprolol,

My T story
Hi, I had Open Heart Surgery for Mitral Valve prolapse in June 2022, Occular migraines started straight away, followed by 24/7 tinnitus which started in March of 2023, I am convinced there is a connection to the surgery, but who knows! I moved to USA in 2009, prior to that I was born and lived in Manchester

Hi, quite new to this forum and this is my first post. Recently diagnosed with Afib, 58 year old man, otherwise healthy. I have different types of episodes. southampton heartbeat house
Has anyone stayed at Heartbeat House in Southampton while a relative is having heart surgery? I sounds an amazing facility, but I did wonder what it was like to stay there.

I have had AFib for 11 years did well on Multaq for the last 7 and all of a sudden it stopped working. Spent 4 days in the hospital and they told me I now have heart failure - cardiologist has recommended a pace and ablate in January and offered me Entresto but I hate to add new meds to my already mix

Persistent Atrial Fibrillation
I caught a bad cold (tested negative for COVID) in November 2022 and on the day that started, I went into AFib. I wasn’t given any treatment because I was already on Warfarin due to my aortic valve replacement in March 2015. I finally saw a consultant about the AFib in May 2023 and was put on Isosorbide

Some bad news…
I had a bypass a year ago and everything seemed to be going fairly well. I noticed a bit of chest pain in May but this seemed to pass over and the consultant wasn’t too concerned. However, two or three weeks ago I noticed some left-sided chest/arm/shoulder pain when cycling and this has got progressively

Robotic surgery?
My mitral valve is deteriorating and surgery is in my future. I’m 72, in good health besides aFib and my valve. I’m interested in robotic surgery and if I would qualify. Curious what other folks experience is.

asthma
hi ,I had a mechanical aortic valve replacement and a anrysyum repair a few years ago . I've been on 5 mg bisoprolol since surgery. I seemed to have asthma after surgery certainly didn't have it before. There were doctors arguing as to whether I had it or not at hospital after my op anyway several

Hi all, I'm a Newbie here.I have Asthma and COPD. I'm back on my Relvar ( after a brief change to Trimbow) which made my breathing worse. I just got prescribed an additional inhaler yesterday ( Incruse Elipta) I took the one puff yesterday evening and within a couple of hrs I was having palpations.

Cold weather
Maybe a bit of a strange question - does anyone feel the cold a lot more since their heart operation? I certainly seem to, two extra layers of T shirts/jumpers, a second pair of socks and I've still had to turn up the heating ... It's mainly my feet, got some lovely slipper socks that make all the
