Extra beats? Missed beats?
Can somebody tell me what these are on my smartwatch ECG? I feel like my hearts skipping beats and this is getting quite frequent now! Had it about a week and not sure why they don’t go away.

Anyone else just utterly sick of failing month after month?
Maybe it was the fact that this month, instead of the usual 'bad hormonal headache 5 days before starting my period' I had bad headaches on and off for the past 5 days 😂🤦♀️ making me think ooh, maybe it's rising

Six weeks later. SUCCESS
Six weeks ago I had a rather aggressive ablation. It is on an area called vein of Marshall if you are not familiar it is an area behind the pulmonary artery. Don’t quote me on that it’s around there somewhere lol. As long as my surgeon can find it I’m OK. I have permanent a fib and flutter or did . Monday

Irregular Heartbeat
Morning All, I joined this forum for advice on my husband's heart problems however Ithis week i had Doppler tests on my feet and legs (ok as it turned out) but the nurse told me I had very high BP (160/100) and an irregular heartbeat. I heard this too on the Doppler. She advised me to see my GP quickly

Wrong diagnosis of AF?
My wife has been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation. The diagnosis was made from pulse-rate readings and one ECG taken when she had to undergo two major emergency operations to clear a blocked bowel/GI tract. We are very concerned that the diagnosis is wrong and that having to take Apixaban is a dangerous

Anyone know .What is the minimum series Apple watch and iPhone for HR monitoring and or ECG
I have heard and researched Apple watch & iPhone and really think they are the best for HR monitoring & taking ECG.However buying both is so out of my price bracket and I have never even looked at an iPhone. However music magpie does quite reasonable rentals on refurbs so might go that route.I understand

Today wasn’t the best
I am so over worrying about my health I’m so over these physical sensations. I’ve convinced myself I have artery disease blood clots and other heart issues. I’m tired of it feeling like I can’t feel my hands some days like I can feel them but like it feels like I can’t like the sensation is decreased

MY AF
Good Evening everyone, well had ECG done, all done by blue tooth. Pulse went up to 112 this morning. Then went down through the morning. ECG showed that it had levelled out. Saw Doctor, had a real good chat. I’m still in AF. I have a very irratic heartbeat but wasn’t too worried. He said my blood

My AF
Morning everyone, AF still wavering about. From 87 to 112. Stupid heart. Will be messaging Doctors in a bit. See what they say. Will have to have an ECG I suppose. I won’t go to hospital. I think I will wait a bit longer. I always feel worse in there as I worry about my dogs. Let’s see what today

Digoxin again (and again)
Long story but after being on digoxin for just under a fortnight I began to feel ill : violent palpitations, high heart rate, diarrhoea ( frequent) and generally feeling terrible. Consulted gp who told me it was a bug but he’d write to cardiologist and if I didn’t hear anything after ten days to phone

Stage 3b no proteinuria decrease blood pressure
My 77 year old husband has been in stage 3 b , no proteinuria due to type 2 diabetes. We have been very diligent and see his PCP and nephrologist regularly. Few months ago, his labs showed hypothyroidism ( TSH over 10). He has since been on thyroid supplement and TSH has decreased and is stable. However

Atrial and Ventricle Dilation.
Good afternoon, I have Stage 4 Prostate Cancer and, on a recent CT scan (Thorax, Abdomen and Pelvis with contrast), an entry said:- "Left atrial dilation with a AP dimension of approx 42mm and features of biventricular dilation are noted". Neither of these have ever been referred to in previous scans

Strange ECG
I was reading in an armchair for an hour or so. On getting up I felt lots of ectopics and managed to take this Kardia (unfortunately, on the 1L version-my 6L wasn't to hand). The irregularity lasted for about 5 minutes. The Kardia reported wide QRS with normal sinus rhythm but the ECG looks very odd

Evening in a &e
So, had six episodes now since end of March. GP glossed over my concerns because he was more focused on treating and referring me for possibly fibromyalgia (which, apparently, has af shown as one of the possible symptoms!) so the 6th episide started about 2 yesterday afternoon, was peaking a lot higher

Pain and stiffness - menopause or something else?
Hi. I was put on pred, mycophenolate and alendronic acid for 2 years in 2008 after several strokes and many tests which concluded in a diagnosis of primary (cerebral) vasculitis. I recovered exceptionally well and still take blood thinners now. In 2020 I developed numerous menopause symptoms including
