Dementia Shlementia :(
Is dementia a symptom of Parkinson's or a side effect of the PD Rx we suffer with acquiescence? i sense my forgetfulness is lifting since i weaned myself from first pramipexole then Azilect and lately Sinemet. A family acquaintance, whom we don't talk to anymore because they stopped coming around,

Misdiagnosis
My dear friends; My new neurologist again, for the second time, told me I do not have PD. I had taken my last dose of Sinemet 4 h ago. What is going on with me is that I have high anxiety, possibly PTSD. I thought so before diagnosis with PD. I wake up in the morning, feeling fine. 1/2 h out of bed,

Mucuna questions
For those of you who take mucuna, I'm starting mucuna and have questions. I have taken no pharmaceuticals yet for PD, although I do take antidepressants. My symptoms are relatively mild but tremor has gotten worse and is beginning to bother. There's a lot of partial answers around this site and I'm hoping

Tips for controlling dyskinesias and pain
Good morning.. I was diagnosed 5 yes ago, started on Sinemet 100/25 1 tab every 8 hours. I am now up to 2 tabs every 3 hrs. I have had dyskinesias for about 6 months which are new. I'm also experiencing increased pain in joints and muscle..I was just wondering how other people manage these symptoms?

Weight gain
I started taking timed-release sinemet (25/100 twice a day) and clonazepam (.5 mg once a day) at the same time. I immediately began ballooning out and exercise has NO effect whatsoever. The doctor brushed this aside as inconsequential, but I think it's worth knowing whether one or the other -- or the
