Long time reader / first time poster…
Hello all, Been on here for quite some time reading about other men’s stories but have yet to get in the trenches until now. Not sure why; maybe just reluctance to accept my situation, even though my “situation” has fully accepted me. It’s been a bumpy road. PSA 12.5 at diagnosis 11/2019. Been checking

Synacthen Test Result
Hi allJust recently got result from endo. Obviously it rules out Addisons which is good and I responded to the inj. The second blood draw was actually done 40 mins post administration but I'm assuming that wouldn't have affected the overall result too much. However I know my baseline blood cortisol is

Fibroscan Results
Howdy, I've recently had a scan after increased liver enzymes and an ultrasound nine months ago which showed a fatty liver as a result. Naturally, it motivated weight loss with a cleaner diet which meant a BMI change from 31.2 to 27.1 - so quite some change ! The fibroscan results noted 4.7 KPA and

seeking more info with yet more questions
Hello. As I begin to write this it's 5:45 in the morning here. Trying to get at least some type of sleep. Still having loads of anxiety but trying to calm myself down to at least write this. Glancing over once in a while to check oxymeter, heart rate ranging from 92 to 104, oxygen steady at 96-97.

Hello
Introducing myself, as I'll be looking through posts in the coming weeks... I'm 61, recently diagnosed with AF, but reckon I've been suffering for about 2 years. Biosprolol, Apixaban and Digoxin. Due to do the 'zaps' in 8-12 weeks.

Do low PSA-producing cells still rely on testosterone to grow?
Am curious to know what the folks here know about this question. If higher PSA cells are driven to near extinction by ADT, and if only low-PSA producing cells survive, are the latter still dependent on testosterone for survival? If not, what do they depend on to grow?

Could chronic urticaria be related to underactive thyroid?
I've had under active thyroid for 5/6 years and have been on a dose of 50mcg of Levothyroxine for all of this time. This year I developed chronic urticaria and then a different kind of dermatitis/eczema and I want to rip my skin off it's so itchy. This week I did an Advanced Thyroid Function Blood Test

Earlier today I posted the link to the PBC Foundaton's Urso calculator. There are so many posts and questions relating to Urso that I thought it was important for everyone to make sure they are on the right dose. This 'calculator' is also available on the PBC app. Knowing you are taking the right dose

What I had failed to grasp about caffeine all these years...
I am a coffee lover all the way through my life to the extent that we now have a nespresso these days with all the various blends to keep variety up. All the research I read talked about the anti-oxidant properties of coffee and the benefits to a more positive digestion etc etc. Even I used to think

Medication and Memory
I was diagnosed with AFib in July and my daily medication is 12-5 Bisoprolol, as well as Digoxin, Rivaroxaban and Perindopril. I’ve always had a brilliant memory but have recently become concerned that I cannot retain information for very long at all. I also seem to get spurts of random, fleeting and

Reporting results from Eclipse Trial
Prior to beginning trial last June I had just gone castrate resistant and PSA was at 3.3. A few weeks after the last of four injections PSA settled in at .25 so there was still something left. However PSA now has quickly shot up to .75 And since I stopped Orgovyx and Zytiga, Testosterone is going up
