Anyone about to start Buserelin injections on long protocol IVF? (Importance to start during mid-luteal phase??)
Excited and anxious!! We're about to start our looooong awaited IVF... Been reading/studying an awful lot, and found this article which summarised my main concern about the timing to start down-reg (Buserelin): http://www.ivf-worldwide.com/education/ivf-stimulation-protocols.html It says, "In order to

FET?...what happens
hi, first cycle using fresh Blastocyst failed so now we are looking to start a cycle with FET...I wondered whether it was that much different to first cycle ie down regulation with buserelin then progesterone to thicken the lining, then implantation. I cant remember how long Iwas on the buserelin for

Step one complete
Hello all. I went from my scan yesterday and it showed my lining was nice and thin so we start stimms this evening. I am on 450 of Menopur as my AMH is so low. I am worried about side effects at high dose but prepared thanks to your previous advice and my IVF buddy at work (everyone should have one).

buserelin start
Hi all, I am just 4 days into my buserelin injection and it seems fairly ok after all as against my initial feeling of having to inject myself. I just want to know if any type of diet or exercise will help with IVF at this stage. Any advice pls anyone?

Stims scan done, FET booked!
so after an extra week of buserelin and oestrogen, todays lining was 8.1 (they like it above 8) and I'm on last buserelin tonight, then reduce oestrogen tablets tomorrow and start cyclogest pessaries ready for frozen transfer in 6 days. I'm a bit concerned my lining wasn't thicker, only went up 1mm in

Buserelin nasal spray not working
Well I've been for my baseline scan today and my endometrium is too thick at 6mm and they could see a triple lined endometrium. I've been moved onto buserelin injections twice a day now and rescan next Thursday which was a wee bit disappointing but hopefully these will do the trick. The nurse pointed

Start injections tomorrow ...any tips?
So, tomorrow morning I start my buserelin injections. I've done the training and I'm not too nervous about actually sticking the needle in (never thought I'd say that!), but just worried about getting it wrong. Does anyone have any advice? Many thanks.
