Update: Experience with Estradiol patches for ADT
Now 7 weeks in and I have learned the following: 1) Estradiol can effectively lower testosterone by depressing
GnRH
but it is a gradual process requiring about a month to reach castrate levels. 2) The side effects profile is unbelievably better with estradiol! Zero hot flashes.

Acyline based ADT?
Anyone having experience, or more info, regarding this: "Acyline is a
GnRH
antagonist available in an oral dosage form, in contrast to current injectable therapies.

Conceiving after GNRH and post op
I’ve been on
GNRH
to reduce Endo and relieve my symptoms whilst I waited for my 2nd operation. I’m now trying for a baby and just wondered if anyone managed to fall pregnant soon after finishing
GNRH
? I had my last injection on the 21st June.

Can someone explain what my Blood Test Results mean?
Cortisol inhibits
GnRH
which would stop the pituritary from growing (MRI showed 'smaller than average Pituritary' after months of low Cortisol, good sleep and TRT) which results in low LH/FSH.

Gnrh injection
Hello I'm just after a bit of guidance please. I had my first gnhr injection about a month ago. After about a week I started to feel off colour. I've had palpatations and almost passed out. Headaches, aching muscles and ridiculous tiredness. Is this something anyone else has had or is there something

Can I really rule out PID?
Since then I’ve had the
GNRH
agonist injection which made my symptoms go crazy for the first 3 weeks but since then I’ve had no pain. Saw a Nook doctor who says there is a ‘reasonable chance’ I have endo and has booked me in for a lap.

IS LUPRON AS EFFECTIVE AS OOPHERECTOMY ?
GNRH
ANALOGUES ARE SYNTHETIC DECAPEPTIDES , SO WONDERING IF IT'S AS EFFECTIVE AS OOPHERECTOMY IN LOWERING TESTOSTERONE , ANDROSTENEDIONE AND ESTROGEN ? ANY THOUGHTS ON THIS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED

GnRH INJECTIONS
So my consultant thinks
GnRH
injections are the way forward for me.. to help diagnose endometriosis. So if my symptoms improve whilst on these injections that is a indicator ? Or if my symptoms worsen then than is an indicator of endometriosis?

How soon has others endo returned?
I had my excision surgery 10 months ago and since then I've been on both combined and mini pill and now I'm on
gnrh
injections. My pain was massively improved after surgery but my symptoms started returning after a few months and now I feel like I'm back to square one.

Diagnostic laparoscopy advice
She then told me about three options painkillers, the
GNRH
injections, or a laparoscopy which she stated most women tend to stay away from the operation as it doesn’t change how they would treat endometriosis.

***Sensitive post*** (but a story to hopefully give hope to those with severe endo and low AMH going through IVF)
stage 4 endometriosis with a large chocolate cyst, a hydrosalpinx and a frozen pelvis in 2016 after trying to conceive with not even a glimpse of a positive test for a year. 2 laparoscopies (including 1 joint surgery with a bowel surgeon to try and remove some of the endo from my bowel), 3 months of

Monotherapy or ADT3?
Maack says: “ Anyone moved to androgen deprivation therapy, and particularly anyone with already known advanced and metastasized prostate cancer SHOULD NOT be prescribed only a
GnRH
agonist or antagonist as monotherapy.”

Decapeptyl SR side effects
Because of this we decided to attempt the
GnRH
agonist. I had my decapeptyl monthly injection 5 days ago, and I take add back therapy in the form of tibolone. About 24 hours after it I got an incredible migraine and felt absoloutely awful.

Nervous about lap on Thursday
I went on
Gnrh
analogues for 6 months and then another lap to confirm all the endo had gone. In the 11 years since I’ve had 2 more operations for ovarian cysts.

Diethylstilbestrol [DES]
Wikipedia [1]: "DES {was a} standard initial treatment for symptomatic advanced prostate cancer for over 40 years, until the
GnRH
agonist leuprorelin {Lupron} was found to have efficacy similar to DES without estrogenic effects and was approved in 1985."
