Holby Sh*tty - Episode 3 a.k.a. When Winnie the Poop met Wind in the Pillows...
Bonjour mes amis and again the warning of bad language and/or graphic details. Remember, curiousity causes offence so don't read if you are a little sensitive. First and foremost I did not post yesterday as a mark of respect for the sad loss of Veronica. It just didn't seem right to have a giggle

10 months on - Redness caused by irritant (not allergen) very slowly going away
Hi, A little backstory first. I applied a substance around the eyebrow area after using it for a few weeks without issue. However, the second tube seemed to have applied more on the brush than the first tube. Please note I stopped using the serum for 5 days and when I applied a face wash that I had no

Effects of GTN spray
I had to take my GTN spray last might after having chest pain whilst exercising. The effects of the spray were horrible, much worse than previously. Not just the headache, but also severe nausea, clammyness and feeling very faint. My companion, a medical expert, almost called 999, she was that worried

I Would Appreciate Some Advice Please?
I already use Foligain shampoo/conditioner and am finding new little hairs growing back, only fine ones but they are there. Today I was reading the reviews for these supplements and they were all practically 5*. Looking at the ingredients they do contain iodine which I know we hypo’s aren’t supposed

Usually sorts it but last weekend it did not and went to hospital for 2 days. But I do suffer extreme tiredness every

only 3 out of 4 graphs have worked.
just back from seeing DR at hospital and 3 out of the 4 bypasses have worked?. he says there is nothing surgically he can do at this point and will see me in 1 year's time. keep on with the Gtn spray when needed. do's this mean I still have angina??

Life with Angina
Been to see my cardiogist today and saw the results of my recent angiogram on video. He explained the bypassx3 showed me the grafts explained in detail. Although the bypass has worked on two of the grafts the arteries are so minute the vessels cannot be stented or grafted so I now have unstable angina

Scans
Hi All, The myocardial perfusion scan, went well yesterday. It was a stress one. I was told they may ask me to come back for a rest one? Saw my GP today. She changed my Gtn spray to a long lasting tablet. Only to take a half of this tablet. we left the beta blocker at the same dosage. I mentioned that

Inverted t waves
Hi. Has anyone had acute inverted t waves for a long time which may or may not be cardiac related? I'm having ongoing ecgs scans and blood tests and each time there are both flat and inverted t waves. I'm told there hasn't been any changes since the ECG and heart scan done 7 years ago. So I'm not too

Is it angina?
Hi folks... I would like to delve into the tank of knowledge that this site has gallons of and ask you guys if the pain I get is like the pain you angina sufferers get. I know that sounds strange so let me shed some light on the reason I ask. Over a year ago I had a chest pain that was associated with

CT Scan
Hi All, Had my CT Scan. All went well. The Dye really does make you think you have wet yourself. Even though I took all my rings etc off, I didn't need to, only a bra if it had metal in it. Had a phone call from hospital to ask me if I would go for a Myocardial Perfusion Scan. This I have next Tuesday

For the heads up on the Brooks sale. Got myself a nice pair of pink glycerine 15's to go with my blue ones 👍. One of them will be taking me round the York marathon in October. Maybe I could do the odd one thing and wear one of each colour! I like taking pictures of new shoes as they don't look like

New medication
Hi there, I’ve recently been prescribed Glyceryl Trinitrate (Deponit) patches & Hydroxychloroquine (tablets) for my limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis after various previous meds not working. Has anyone else used these? Any success? Many thanks in advance for your replies 😊

Distrust of Doctors and how to overcome it.
Do people really trust their doctors? If you do, how did you come to trust them? One of the reasons I ask is I hear so many times please consult your doctor before you or ask your doctor about ...... Frankly I kind of turn off at that point as I don't really trust medical doctors and therefore consulting
