Hey, new to this and wanted to say hi. I had a knee dislocation 11 years ago which cause a dropped foot and no feeling down the right and side of my leg. 6 years ago I got a tendon transfer which was meant to help but has left me with chronic pain, I can hardly walk, had to give up work. After 10 years

Ankle fusion, tendon transfer and first metatarsal raise.
Hello, hoping for some good advice (of course!) and relay of experiences re the above. I have just seen a very highly recommended ortopeadic consultant for the first time ever and the above operation has been recommended due to the nature of my inward heel/out turned ankle. It has reached a 'tipping

benefits I have had epilepsy for over 50 years. People keep telling me you can claim for this and that but every time I try for anything I just get a letter back saying I don't qualify. Finger deformity.
I had a tendon transfer on my thumb in March. I had to wear a splint for ages. Now my thumb is more useful than it was, but the splinting seems to have affected my middle finger. Life sometimes takes me 2 steps forward , and then 3 steps back. My middle finger is stuck in a bent position. I can make

Driving DLA and Motability
I am 17 years old and will be 18 in June and I really, really would love to start learning to drive. The trouble is I will need a specially adapted car to do so and I am only on lowest rate DLA with no motability component. I started off on middle rate but since then it was stopped and after two appeals
