*ding ding* Round Two...
So, it was FET time yesterday and (touch wood) all seemed to go well! As Iām sure many of you will have experienced, our day started with waking up at the crack of dawn nervously awaiting the phone call to tell us if our embryos had survived the thaw. I felt physically sick, couldnāt keep my mind occupied

Cyclogest issues
Hi I have been taking my cyclogest rectally this time after follow insertion advice of this site Last night I did the pessary before bed but about 15 mins later I got up to go to the loo (no 1) This morning I noticed 3 white blobs of residue in the toilet and now Iām worried Iāve not had enough cyclogest

Is this really a yeast infection?
Hello! I wondered if anyone with personal experience of thrush could help me! I have had swabs taken which were negative for bacteria and STIs but positive for thrush. I strongly think my thrush came from antibiotics (a 3 week course for suspected PID - metro-something and oflox-something). I finished

Tampons for grade 1 bladder prolapse (cystocele)
Hi. I have never used tampons, I'm 46 but due to the prolapse would like to hear from anyone who successfully improves their symptoms with them. I just successfully used them (regular) for 3 days whilst on my period. I have read that super tampons are best. I've also read that taking a tampon out dry

Move to Cornwall!
Might seem like a daft heading but I've experienced two completely different attitudes to gynaecological problems since moving. In Gloucestershire, it took me 11 months to get to see a consultant, then over a year's wait to get a date for a hysterectomy and anterior repair (which should have been done

Pessary cream while trying to get pregnant
My wife and I are trying for a baby. She might have thrush. Is it safe to use a pessary cream Cannestan? Would it harm baby if there is one inside her womb?

I got the morning phone call
So last night I slept like a baby. I had egg collection yesterday and they managed to get five. I was so pleased as I was dreading it. As last time they only got two with only one making it past the first 24 hours. Then sadly that one egg only got to day three when they checked on day five. I took my

Vaginal prolapse and adhesions
I have a vaginal prolapse with cistocele and rectocle. I also suffer from pelvic adhesions which cause me a lot of pain. I have in addition a pelvic injury through childbirth 40 years ago. My appointment at a fracture clinic lead to the suggestion that I had the pelvic bone fused. My gyneacologist

Vaginal irritation that isn't Thrush
Can anyone help? I started with itchy symptoms 2 months ago and I thought it was Thrush. I took the oral tablet which usually works straight away, but 1 week later I was still itchy. I took another oral capsule but got the Cannesten one this time. One week later, still no improvement. I took the advice

After a Well Woman appointment!
Hi everyone Well I went to my Well Woman clinic. I had The opportunity to talk to a woman doctor within my normal surgery practice. (Important for all sorts of reasons!) We went through all my symptoms. This is the update. 1. As a 74 year old woman who had a hysterectomy in 1980 my problem is not unique

Exercises for prolapse
Hi, I have a vaginal prolapse and have been put on the waiting list for a hysterectomy. I've been on the list for over a year and am struggling to get any advice from my local medics - my calls aren't returned and PALS say they can't discuss personal cases! Does anyone know of any exercises that might

Injectable progesterone
Hi guys, After two failed rounds of IVF and not so great reactions to progesterone in either gel or pessary format (irrated lining and bad stomach pains) I am thinking about using injectable progesterone next time. It seems quite common in US but not in UK. Has anyone on here used it? Is it any better

8 days post transfer
Hi, I am 8 days post embryo transfer. I have just noticed some brown discharge and some pink residue on my pessary applicator. (Sorry for TMI!) I am due to do my test on Wednesday 7th November. Has anyone else in my position had this and should I be worried?
