How do we get a second opinion?
My Dad had a triple heart bypass 12 years ago.. Then in October 2018 he got extremely breathless, tired and suffered extreme chest pain which lead to him using his spray more in the past 3 months than the last 12 years. After lots of mess up with appointments my Dad finally had his angiogram yesterday

Running after a cabbage (C.A.B.G)
That’s coronary artery bypass graft I graduated in the middle of last year but regressed to walking after I was diagnosed with blocked arteries and scheduled for a triple bypass. Anyhow I had the op in December and yesterday I was officially discharged and cleared to restart running and cycling So

Ongoing throat discomfort worse with exercise
Hi everyone I had CABG last July and one of my presenting symptoms was throat discomfort which became worse when I exercised. The problem which is really bugging me is that the discomfort is continuing. My GP put me on very strong antacids which didn’t help. I am probably in total denial but I wondered

Living With Angina
I'm on a cardiac rehabilitation course following bypass surgery. One of the cardiac nurses running the course explained they've had many people with angina symptoms, and those people are often surprised at the relatively high level of exercise they can achieve during the course without suffering any

Flutter, Ablation and Ablation
I received the fluctuation and AF diagnosis in May after
gastric
bypass
surgery. After two long doses, volatile home with propofenon (2x300gdia), atenol (2x25mgdia) and eliquis (2x5mgdia). I'm asymptomatic, the Holter shows very busy extras all night. I have ablation scheduled for October 23.

Dental Work & Heart Surgery (do yourself a favour and get any dental work completed before your operation!)
I had bypass surgery eight weeks ago. I had been scheduled to go to the dentist the week after the operation for a couple of fillings, but my teeth weren't hurting so I postponed the appointment until today when I was back driving and feeling better. I knew that you should inform the dentist about recent

POST gastric bypass with bladder leakage
I thought losing the weight would cure or help my bladder leakage. It has gotten worse. Had a bladder sling surgery 4 months ago. It seems to be worse. Urologist is not alking about putting a “stim” I. Either the heel or bladder to help control leakage. Anyone have that done? Results? Thanks

Post-heart bypass physio?
Hello all, my father had a triple heart bypass in July at the age of 85. At that age, recovery will obviously be a lengthy process. However, I’m not noticing any recovering, and if anything he’s deteriorating. I’m obviously no doctor, but I can see he’s too unwell and/or lacks the confidence to walk

I’ve had some upsetting results.
Dear community, I had an angiogram last week and received a letter this morning that I wasn’t expecting. The results of the angiogram show I have severe heart disease . The circumflex coronary artery cannot be vascularised using surgery. They are going to do a bypass of left and right arteries. After
