Low blood pressure after triple CABG
Hi everyone. I hope you are all doing ok. My husband who is 36 had his operation 3 days ago (no HA). His blood pressure has been low since then (now 90/60 but was lower 2 days after the op). He never had any problems with his BP until now. He is cold most of the time and shivers a lot. He is drinking

Anyone acting out dreams and having internal tremors?
Hello everyone,I am new here and after reading many of the posts decided to share my story. I don't suffer from anxiety but do have depression and take an anti-depressant. I also take a beta blocker following bypass surgery. I act out my dreams which are mostly scary and violent. I kick, run,

Bit fed up today....
6 months post cabg x 4 and sometimes forget what happened as my recovery has been so good. However last week I had the aches and symptoms of a virus and this week I have a gastric bug. Anyone else find they pick things up so much easier now?

Inducible ischaemia outlook
My letter back from the specialist after MRI (I have had h/a and cabg in last year) shows ‘inducible ischaemia in basal mid inferior and inferolateral walls : 3 segments ‘ I have read that this type of ischaemia has poor outcomes. Can anyone throw some light/offer hope. Thanks

Permanent AF for 23 Years
I am 58yrs with AF for 23 yrs, and treated with high dose digoxin and 75mgs aspirin with no real issues. Recently had double CABG due to severe lesion in Left Main Artery, after a mild NSTEMI in June. Recovery is good, but suffering badly from anaemia with haemoglobin levels at 118/121 g/l. More detailed

Another new member - who has really high BP
I was diagnosed with high blood pressure twelve years ago and have taken Enalapril in increasing doses. This July, as a mid-sixties overweight male, I had a mild heart attack which resulted in double bypass surgery. No problems with that (Hooray for the Freeman Hospital!). This week was my third visit

Anyone else suffering from Post Operational Cognitive Dysfunction ?
I had an AVR 3 yrs ago and since then my memory and ability to retain information has been poor. I also had an episode of global amnesia and after a lot of tests a neurologist concluded that i have POCD. This is thought to be caused by being on the heart bypass machine and there is a lot of research

AF, Sotalol & Me
I have constant AF which started after bypass surgery and found out after cardio-version I am allergic to Sotalol. Extremely allergic to Sotalol - Never, ever according to the manufacturer and other medical websites take Sotalol unless under hospital observation. It literally killed me!

Bypass surgery
Hi All. Just found out today following an agiogram that I need bypass surgery. Suffice to say a bit of a shock that! I have a family and no life insurance (a big mistake I know) and am worried for them if something happens. Can anyone offer any advice who has been in similar situation on how they got

FND & Fibromyalgia
I am a 74-year-old, reasonably fit man and live near Brighton. I was diagnosed with FND last week by Dr Khan at St Georges Hospital after many years of hospital tests revealing “no cause found”. I have had pain in many parts of my body for many years. After learning from Dr Khan about the medical use

Post 515 hello family members
It has been one helluva week let me tell "YOU" Not me, it is normally not me or she who must be obeyed, but her Uncle. Heart attack and quadruple bypass surgery. Maybe it is not a bypass, and they had to place four stents in his heart. It was at the Mayo clinic and he has good insurance,
