Xgeva with zytiga, orgovyx and prednisone
Some Xgeva side effects have me very concerned, such as potential for ONJ, broken femur, and then potential for multiple vertebrae
fractures
if/when treatment ends. Understood that everyone is a little different. Thanks in advance!

TAPERING, DEPRESSION OR BOTH?
I've been mostly stuck in my flat for the better part of 7 months due to, severe osteoporosis, 9 vertebral
fractures
and the need to "baby my back" (Osteo Specialist's words, not mine). A lot of pain. In November went to GP with possible flare. She put me back up to 20 mg. Pred.

Advice on taking Naproxine with Pred
X-ray was done and no

Night sweats etc.
I have to add that I have recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis, and didn't know I had this condition until MRA scan found
fractures
in my spine and pelvis which I have been in agony with, even though I'm on morphine.

New here 🤗
I was sent for X-rays to make sure there were no stress
fractures
, which there wasn’t. I was then referred to rheumatology again ( privately). They did bloods, and I was called last week to say my ANA was 1:640 homogeneous . ENA was negative for rheumatoid factors.

New to AA
I had a few
fractures
b4. Wrists, ankles etc. I have osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. To cut it short. I have been prescribed AA also Colecaliferol. After reading all reviews on here, I am wondering if its worth taking! The side effects look like they outweigh the benefits.

Eligard Injection in Arm?!
My father has always received his Eligard shots in his abdomen. For whatever reason, the nurse who injected him gave it to him in his arm. Is this a cause for concern? I already asked his oncologist in an email but no response. I looked up that Lupron is given intramuscularly but Eligard is subcutaneous

Help interpreting summary of DEXA scan, please?
I had a DEXA san in January 2022, 18 months after being diagnosed and starting on Pred. By then my usual GP was away. I was just told I had osteopenia. I’m 65. For several months I wasn’t even advised what to do about it until I spoke again to my regular doc, who prescribed soluble ADCAL D3.

On slow drop but having back pain again. Pred withdrawal or DOMS.
I have been seeing a very experienced physio since summer because of disc problems. ( Also recently ct scan revealed 4 or 5 compression
fractures
in spine...mainly minor). The exercises helped a lot, both sorting my back and building up muscle strength gradually.

Prolia 1yr Update
I wanted to share my Prolia results. One year ago my DEXA scan showed Osteopenia in the left femoral neck (T -1.1) and I started Prolia. I chose not to take Vitamin D or calcium as they were within normal range. My DEXA scan a year later showed a 3.5 % increase in bone density in my hip with a T of -

Heavy news today
I have tumours on C2,3,5,6,T1 and I have compression
fractures
at C4(where they were thinking about surgery) but also C7 and T2. That where the imaging stops. We don’t know what is happening in the rest of my spine. I have bloodwork on Monday and we talk about treatment options on Tuesday.

Acute kidney disease
His results have indicated low BP and high cholesterol at risk of cardiovascular disease and acute kidney disease. .His mobility is bad due to spinal
fractures
that won't heal due to lack of nutrient in his body. He still drinks to excess and not eating or taking care of his appearance.
