Anybody taking fostair nexthaler 100/6 once a day?
I want to ask the asthma specialist at my next review if I can reduce my
fostair
to once a day? Anybody on this low dose? As mine is seasonal in winter I want to stop in Spring. I am a bit hesitant due to pandemic but will discuss with him whenever I get appt. Concerned if long term side effects.

Sinusitis side effect with Atrovent and Spiriva
Hi, after a flare up of asthma I was given Atrovent in addition to my
Fostair
, prednisolone, antibiotics (I had a raised temperature) and anti histamine. After a few days I developed sinus symptoms (which I’ve had on and off for years).

Changing inhalers
I've been changed from flutiform to
fostair
due to side effects. I've only been on the
fostair
a few days but it feels like it's not doing a great deal. My chest & upper back hurt. I laugh, I cough. I feel like I've got more shortness of breath than usual.

Fostair side affects?
And even more recently I’ve been having massive mood changes that start about 20 minutes after taking my morning dose of
fostair
, I’ll feel so agitated, restless and angry? Every sense almost feels too sensitive, a simple touch can agitate me into anger.

In a word...help
I am not sleeping at night and struggle to get my breath, I had a session with my asthma nurse yesterday and she has given me
Fostair
as my asthma is clearly not controlled. Oh my peak flow is up and down like a see saw! She says is going to be trial and error until we find one that works for me.

Side effects
Hello Since I’ve upped my
fostair
to 4x a day I’ve been having cramp type muscle spasms in my feet/toes, hands and side. I’m also on spiriva 2 puffs a day. Has anyone else experienced this? Whenever I try to cut down my SOB increases but this side effect is driving me mad.

Diagnosed with suspected Asthma after having Covid
They started me off on Qvar & Salbutamol as needed but I kept getting mouth thrush & also felt it did nothing for me so they changed me to
Fostair
. So far, I feel like nothing really 100% is helping me. What I genuinely can't understand is it seems to go in cycles.

About 5 days ago I had my pumps switched over from seretide (as was not working) to
Fostair
Nexthaler. Although my asthma symptoms have improved, the day after starting
Fostair
I developed all over body pain, muscle cramps in legs, dizziness and feel generally unwell.

I’m getting a bit breathless on Fostair MART
Should I take the maximum 8 puffs again (I did this for two weeks when I started with
Fostair
and then reduced to 2puffs twice a day). I feel that I have some thickish mucous that’s blocking my breathing.

8 puffs of Fostair 200/6 a day - really?
Annoyingly, when I got down to 20mg, my peak flow started to drop so the doctor told me to go back up to 25mg and also to double the
Fostair
to 8 puffs a day. Is that a normal dose - I thought 4 puffs was the maximum?

Fostair fast heart rate
Should I not take my
fostair
this evening so you think? Having more than just clenil and salbutamol to think about is all very new to me. I'm taking montelukast too in case that matters. 😕

New to
Fostair
inhaler can anyone tell me please if you have to shake container before use? As inhalers this is the norm but can’t find anything in the instructions.

Ongoing infections and asthma
I take
fostair
200/6, spirivia respirmat, montelukast and currently take 2-8 puffs of salbutamol roughly 4 hourly and wake up most nights with a tight chest. Does anyone have any suggestions of why I can not seem to get rid of the infection?

Fostair Advice
I have been prescribed
Fostair
100/6 and have tried both the inhaler and NEXThaler options, both of which evoke side effects of hoarseness, dry mouth ulcers and mucus overproduction.
