Constant green phlegm since March 2023
I was given
Fostair
200/6 and used it until February this year when I asked if I could step down as I was getting such high peak flows so went down to luforbec 100/6.

Trelegy Ellipta
Prescribed
Fostair
200/6 but suffered terrible cramps., especially at night and when exercising. I know this is associated with potassium levels and therefore increased intake of potassium high fruit and veg, but didn’t help.

Fostair and sweating
I've recently been changed to
Fostair
from Clenil. I've also started sweating more especially when I wake up in the mornings. Has anyone else experienced this with
Fostair
? Just wondering if it is a side effect of the
Fostair
or something else. Thanks very much!

Headache and drowsiness
After a week on
Fostair
100/6 there’s been a definite improvement in wheezing, mucus production and cough which have all reduced. I’m encouraged to think there will be continued improvement in the weeks ahead as the long-acting element does its work.

Wheezing and Tight Chest
I was told back in November 2023 it's asthma that's causing the wheezing and I was given a different inhaler (
fostair
200mg). It's now May and I still have the same symptoms and since January 2024 I've also been taking spiriva and montelukast. Any one out there had a similar experience?

Ticklish nose
I seem to have made good progress with my asthma symptoms since starting on
Fostair
100/6 and Incruse Ellipta four weeks ago: no mucus, no wheeze, no cough after eight months of the very opposite.

SPIRIVA RESPIMAT inhaler
My consultant has put me on it to use once a day with my
fostair

New adult onset asthma
They've put me on
fostair
and montelukast . And I'm now tapering off prenidsolone over several weeks. Is this going to be a regular occurrence? Work have been good about it. But imagine that would be less so if it kept happening! Any thoughts welcome!

Fostair/luforbec
Hi people - The patent on
fostair
has ended and I’ve been changed over to luforbec. Despite rinsing my after each use I’m getting a sore mouth and have been given a mouthwash to use. Anyone else having this problem and does it settle down or should I just ask to be put back on
fostair
?

Im not sure if fostair inhaler is working as well for me as flutiform inhaler did , anyone else had same experience with this ?
Im not sure if
fostair
inhaler is working as well for me as flutiform inhaler did. I don't feel wheezy as such but just a general asthma feeling in my chest now and again which passes but I did not get this on flutiform. Asthma nurse put me on to try
fostair
as its more eniromentally friendly.

Nebulisers
I had used 20 salamol and 8
fostair
doses, my daily limit. In our area we are not allowed our own nebulisers, so as told to I rang 111 and asked for a nebuliser, as I had run out of treatment options. 111 then said could not send paramedic and sent a full scale ambulance.

FeNo test
I had lung function tests yesterday as a result of which I was diagnosed with asthma and started on a
Fostair
100/6 inhaler. I return in a week for monitoring. When I had a FeNo test 18 months ago I scored 36. Yesterday I got 192, 167 and 150. This seems very high and I wonder what it indicates.

Oral thrush
I'm using
Fostair
, I really think it's from that inhaler. I have some white and red spots on my throat, nothing on my tongue yet. I have a few questions because this never happened before. Is oral thrush contagious? I'm afraid because I don't want to give it to my partner.

Hello from a newbie
I'm wondering if I should be taking my
fostair
and montelucast all year round to prevent this......I usually just take it when the hay fever symptoms kick in and it combats that. Any insight would be so appreciated.

Any advice?
😅 Back in 2017 I had two really bad exacerbations with my asthma, involving lots of pred and antibiotics, which led to me moving from
fostair
to seretide 250, as well as starting on montekulast, tiotropium, fexofenadine, and some mucadene when things were very bad, did have chest x-rays, but was not
