Fodmap diet
I would just like to ask anyone with a low
fodmap
diet app, if you could recommend one. I’ve tried this before without success, but I would like to give it another go. I’m due a procedure soon, but I would like to test this first.

FODMAP Diet
My doctor recommended me the low
FODMAP
diet after IBS treatment with mebeverine and lansoprazole only partially helped. I'm not keen on changing my diet.

Bloating/constipation - could it be endo? Please share experiences
I’ve tried various elimination diets, including low
FODMAP
, no difference to the constipation and bloating. When I was able to manage the constipation through supplements like magnesium, the bloating went away.

Gallbladder/Hashimoto/gastro problems link
I am gluten free, have tried eliminating diary, soy, corn and tried low
fodmap
to no avail. I have an appointment with a gastroenterologist in 3 weeks. Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this? I want to make the most of my appointment.

Suspected gluten sensitivity and IBS - How long for symptoms to appear and how long to recover?
For the last few months I have been following the low
FODMAP
diet which did help my symptoms and energy levels a great deal, however when it was time for the reintroduction phase it seems that eating Gluten has reset the IBS.

What can i eat- confused
The low
fodmap
diet says what veg you shouldn't eat. Then the glutton free says something different a d the dairy free says something else. I will try anything but don't know what is best. My GP is referring me back to the gastro specialist but dont know how long that will take.

Gluten...my theory!
Because she, like me, had discovered a growing body of evidence to patients have similar reactions to the
FODMAP
Fructan (and fructose) as gluten she suggested the following. Waitrose No 1 Spelt Sourdough bread! (No, I haven't got shares in Waitrose).

7 Years of undiagnosed Pelvic Pain & Bowel Issues and at a loss :(
Ive tried the low
FODMAP
diet, tried cutting so many foods out, I cant find any link to my symptoms. I feel so unwell like this is affecting my skin, my hair is thinning, and I feel exhausted, lately at times I feel light headed like I will pass out.

Endo symptoms or IBS??
I have now been advised to do a low
fodmap
diet. Every time I go to my GP I mention that I am worried the endo is worsening or has spread to the bowels, they seem to dismiss it and say it is just IBS?!

Servere Pain 24/7
Please don’t tell me to follow the
fodmap
diet because I’ve tried that. I have been told yeast is one of my problems, now please don’t get that mixed up with gluten. My biggest problem is bread, now the only bread I can think of without yeast, is Soda bread, and that’s not very nice.

Sugar (sucrose, table sugar...)
The question here is about low
fodmap
sugar. Does anyone have any trouble with it. I haven’t used sugar for close to a year. It was difficult really.

Any tips on how to reintroduce food after bad IBS flare up.?
I take buscopan and omeprazole daily and follow a low
Fodmap
diet but on reflection took my eye off the ball and ate a combination of some ‘wrong things’ for me yesterday ...never again. The pain was excruciating like someone was squeezing and twisting my bowel.

Help with Low FODMAPs diet please!
I have been asked to do this low
FODMAP
diet by my dietician for 8 weeks. But I just cannot stick to it. I am a very busy social worker and I have a habit of letting myself go 'too hungry', then I reach for crisps, chocolate and take-away chips! Help! How can I make this work for me?

Working on new app for low-FODMAP diet: want to hear your opinion!
Some things I am curious about:
1) Given that the low
FODMAP
diet is very restrictive I am curious if anyone has tried the low-
FODMAP
diet and thinks it is realistic for patients to stick to a completely low-
FODMAP
diet for months?

Desert...
Then i noticed that it’s ok to have some low
fodmap
sugar, either table sugar or maple syrup. I’m fond of rice pudding (soy protein milk) but just wondering if it’s ok to have it everyday(a pudding, containing a level tbsp white sugar and 2 tsp of maple syrup) or is it actually catching up with me?

Still on
FODMAP
diet and digestive enzymes. Once my ten day course is over I will start reintroducing food back into my diet and will be seeing my doctor at end of August. Things are definitely improving at the moment.
