Anyone feel wierd flopping sensation down below when they go to loo..
But i dont know much about constipation, i eat tonnes of fibre and drink enough as my urine is pale yellow so i dont know why this is happening other than dairy free and low
fodmap
. Fodmaps do seem to be helping. Making me question why the hell they are prescribing this diet.

RA overlap just diagnosed. Who else? Tips?
Also cut out some high
Fodmap
foods. What supplements? I read borage oil. I already take fish oil. Anyone tried acupuncture? Any tips for managing this with PBC appreciated. TIA

Sibo & Diet
Hi Everyone, Has anyone given up on low
fodmap
diet & restriction & gone back to normal diet?. I have been doing low
fodmap
& gluten free for a year now & to be honest I don’t think it has helped with sibo & constipation, I am tired of the same foods all the time.

I also take a probiotic which I think really helps and having followed the
fodmap
diet now know to be careful about eating certain goods, particularly white fresh bread. Thankfully it is mainly under control but has taken about 35 years to sort it out! Good luck

He said closely linked to
FODMAP
Thought that was interesting, I definitely do better with low
FODMAP
meals perhaps this is why 🤷🏽♀️ https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/zoe-science-nutrition/id1611216298?i=1000633465298

5 weeks on from rifamixin for SIBO and IBS C.
I try to keep with the low
fodmap
diet but not totally. Thankfully my pains have reduced (I do wonder if some of that was linked to the laxatives) and the bloating I can get under my ribs is more manageable with gaviscon.

Family difficulties
I’ve recently fallen out with my mum because she won’t stop suggesting whatever I’ve eaten that day is causing the problem - I’ve told her this isn’t helpful and is demonising food types (I follow
fodmap
and avoid the usual triggers).

Has anyone had success with a U.K. nutritionist, dietician or naturopathic doctor?
I have tried everything:- I am low
fodmap
whilst avoiding all of my known trigger foods (been low
fodmap
for far too long as scared of high
fodmap
foods and food in general!)

Incomplete Evacuation and Diarrhoea
I was diagnosed with IBS in 2020 when symptoms started, tried
fodmap
diet, mebeverine, linseeds, anitbiotics for suspected SIBO, antidepressants but no positive improvement. Recent Fecal Calprotectin was significantly raised at 361ug, but colonoscopy and biopsies returned normal.

Wrong diagnosis
She has told me to follow a
FODMAP
diet and lower my carb intake, but my diet has always been the same. I’m really struggling with being able to cut things out to find “triggers” because they don’t happen often.

SIBO and antibiotics
I have tried to work with low
fodmap
diet previously but without much success. My test with lactose was “equivocal” but a following one with glucose was positive - and I do agree from observing how I react to food that this is how the symptoms affect me.

Really struggling
I have not been able to take thyroxine when I was diagnosed in March 2021, ended up on low
FODMAP
and with a homeopath and naturopath but went from 9 st 5 to 7 stone 11 when doctors got concerned. Every time I tried to include a food back in diet I was worse.

advise please
Followed
FODMAP
for a while but lost so much weight, i am struggling to eat enough foods that don’t affect me. I have seen digestive enzymes can be an issue, can anyone advise on this please. Getting really concerned about food limitations.

It took 9 months on the waiting list but has really helped my IBS with the LOW

elimination diet.

Bloating
I then saw a private Nutritionist who put me on hhd
FODMAP
diet and later a private gastroenterologist. I then had tests for Microbiome and Zonulin levels.

IBS or something more?
I have taken food out and reintroduced it (low
fodmap
, dairy, gluten) and I've found no difference what so ever. I'm exhausted constantly. No amount of sleep helps. I get run down easily. I get ill easily and seem to be constantly fighting colds off which can last for weeks.

I don't eat much as I thought food was a culprit I leave dairy alone, caffeine and eat very low
fodmap
slightly bit of gluten but not much. Nothing has helped. Been on metronidazole last week again and still no change.

FODMAP book recommendation
Hello everyone, Can someone please point me in the direction of a comprehensive
FODMAP
book? I’ve become increasingly intolerant to so many foods which cause me no end of widespread pain/inflammation/reflux.

Help towards my IBS Story and Gaining Weight
Also tried keeping more with low
fodmap
too but do have snacks through the day sometimes that are sugary just to sometimes keep me going as I genuinely struggle to want to eat.
