Our 6 yr old refuses to take Quillivant XR some mornings. She says it causes her to lose self control, increase anxiety. Not in these exact words but similar. What do we do?

Go back to the prescriber (if you are happy with them) and tell them it’s not working well and you’d like to explore other options. Adding guanfacine is one option. Checking into non stimulant options like Qelbree is another. Would also highly recommend adding in b-complex vitamins with methylfolate. Different doctors have different levels of experience with prescribing for specific pediatric populations. Make sure you feel confident in your doctor and if not look for a different one.
